Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #3

From the comments by JW, it sounds like something definitely happened at the house. Idk if that was when they killed her but the drive to the airport/being seen on camera was an attempt to make it look like they dropped her at the airport Imo. I don’t think they left the house with any intention of letting her get on a flight. Jmo.
Absolutely agree

“Both of the accused were arrested in the Bundaberg area on Thursday just after 6pm and police said they have since engaged lawyers. “

“Police seized Mr Wood’s four wheel drive for forensic examination, which was spotted getting towed to the police station on Thursday evening.”

“He’s been effectively living out of it from time to time,” Inspector Mansfield said.

Inspector Mansfield said there is a “body of work” to look at additional charges, but that their “primary focus was clearly Pheobe”.

“All of those other charges will likely follow.”

Criminal specialist on sunrise explained the interference charges as anything that is disrespectful to a corpse. She used the example of disinterring - i.e. removing from burial site. Sounds like just moving a body to a location does not bring this charge. Moreso it is removing it once it has already been buried.

This coupled with the police saying after the GNS search that they were confident evidence had been moved leads me to believe they found an empty grave site - hence bringing in the dogs to confirm there had in fact been a corpse in the empty grave. Just my opinion obviously
In Queensland 'interfering with a corpse' is very common in cases of murder. As soon as a body is moved, the alleged murderer has 'interfered with a corpse'.other states don't seem to use that much. ie Samantha Murphy.

Inspector Mansfield revealed their investigation had been informed by telephone data, and more than 200 tip offs from members of the public.

Police seized Mr Wood’s four wheel drive for forensic examination, which was spotted getting towed to the police station on Thursday evening.

“He’s been effectively living out of it from time to time,” Inspector Mansfield said.

Thank God for Witnesses

This is getting worse and worse!!!!

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Detective Inspector Mansfield confirmed multiple dead dogs had been found at the Gin Gin home where the three were living.

He said more charges may be laid against Mr Wood and Ms Bromley. “

"Our primary focus was clearly Pheobe in this homicide investigation so all of those other charges will likely follow."

The dead dogs were already reported on day 1 by the police in the papers and on television and the neighbour being interviewed saying up to 11 were found.

Only JW said it was a litter of pups that died of hook worm

Not sure why people would believe what he says to be honest

From Same Link above
The detective was asked in the media conference if one of the accused was in fact arrested and charged whilst at the Bundaberg Police Station. He confirmed that yes that was true. The media asked whether that person handed themselves in. He stated no they did not. They were at the police station already in relation to the investigation.

This is what led me to make my comment.

I wonder if that car was photographed by a witness a day or so after Pheobe went missing ?? Be pretty revealing if that was the case, I'd imagine ?
From what the detective was saying, he made it sound like the public had provided information relating to that car so most likely. The car is shown in the photos that have been in the media parked outside the house though.

I did wonder why that car hadn't been seized but maybe it was strategic to leave it there. They focus on TB's car so JW thinks his car is in the clear. Which leads him to use his car to do all the things he shouldn't be doing

Pretty sure everything was checked over during the crime scene investigation. Including the boat and his car. Homicide wouldn't be doing bits and pieces, every single thing they own would have been checked and tested.

His car was probably unregistered so he wouldn't be driving that once police got involved

Using it before the 18th though?
Absolutely possible

Another thing that I've always had in my mind is the neighbour that heard and reported the altercation at 5am surely must have then paid close attention to what was going on at the house in the hours following. I wonder if that neighbour has a lot more information about their movements etc that has been provided to police but obviously not released publicly.

If you are that concerned about something next door that you call the police, chances are you are paying very close attention to the situation following that.

Obviously just my opinion.

There was a live media conference this morning at 9am Queensland time. I can see the live feed but it won't let me replay it.
This one here works if you have FB.

In the media conference it is very obvious that they believe this was the car used to move PB at least one of the times.

Yea are they that dumb that after he was released yesterday one of them thought hey we will log into her FB to make it look like she's still alive
Yes they are that dumb.
If nothing else, take this as a reminder:

There will be quite a few more charges yeah… in relation to the animal cruelty or whatever happened there, as well as tampering with the number plates etc. Watch this space!

Thanks, yes I managed to watch it after you posted the link earlier. The first time I tried I didn't wait long enough with the starting soon on the screen.
