More tariff chaos from America's second largest grocery store chain:
How are suppliers supposed to give Albertsons 3 month's notices to increase their prices when the tariffs haven't been finalized and it's likely that Trump will make them instantly effective, not allowing major food supply chains or suppliers to ramp up and deal with the regulatory paperwork that will be required?
And, the tariffs may be different for different varieties of the same products, or released at different times.
Grocery company CEO's and their suppliers must be furious with Trump over all this. What a mess.
