Maybe, but in the state where I live Walmart employees usually get Medicaid coverage. Walmart helps them apply. Most of their employees are part-time.I do worry that Walmart would reduce important benefits to employees to offset the tariff - things like removing their healthcare and paid time off.
They probably provide some kind of health care coverage to upper and middle management employees, like store managers and above.
I recall about 20 yrs ago I worked a holiday season at Kohls Department Store. Their health benefits were ridiculous. Didn't cover anything, really. Most everything was out of pocket and if you had to be hospitalized with a serious illness or accident, they covered something like $10,000.
