Only Luigi derailed his own "beautiful, promising life", his NARC is showing big time.

Poor, little Luigi, he's really ready to go home now and resume his former lifestyle of privilege. While Brian Thompson is dead and buried never again to enjoy his own life and those of his sons and their future milestones.

Nauseating. Brian Thompson's beautiful, promising life was derailed when he was cowardly shot in the back in cold blood. As for the last bit, murderers have historically faced execution. They can't murder again if they're dead.

Funny how life gets derailed when you choose to murder someone.

The hypocrisy and self-absorption here is unbelievable. As we all know, clearly Brian’s life was ended, not merely “derailed.”

But it looks like that’s not even a factor to LM. Only his life matters, not his victim’s.

LM had been riding a high of pure adrenaline, feeling emboldened about his beliefs, and then they caught him in McDonalds. Those feel-good chemicals can only last so long. Eventually it would all come crashing down. I figured he could ride the wave of commitment to his ideals for a while. Visits with attorneys would undoubtedly provide new dopamine boosts.

But as the weeks and months slowly tick by, and he wakes up in a concrete cell every morning, and goes to sleep on a 3-4" plastic covered foam pad each night, it gets more and more difficult to hold on to the worldview that originally motivated him. This is the slow process we call "getting in touch with reality" and it sounds like its finally happening for LM.

Mangione is charged with four federal counts in connection with Thompson's killing, and he is also charged on New York state counts that include second degree murder.

Federal prosecutors have until Oct. 31 to respond to the filing. Mangione is scheduled to return to court in the federal case Dec. 5, days after the start of pretrial hearings in his state case. No trial date has been set for either case.

JMO, if he was of sound mind when he committed this murder, he has to accept the consequences. If he is now truly remorseful and regrets the harm he has brought to the victim and his family and friends, then maybe some day in the future, if he's found guilty, he can become eligible for parole.

Right, his life was privileged and beautiful. The best education, luxurious vacations, travel, and the finest clothing and accessories money can buy. A busy, fun life with shirtless selfies posted on Social Media for all to see and envy (IMO) with no pain in sight.

I think something switched in LM after he left his job in Calf. It seemed he started to distance himself and not communicating with his family and friends. He didn't participate as groomsman as planned in a close friend's wedding. Maybe some sort of MH issue or online radicalization?

His own family had reported him missing or hired a PI to check on him at one point. His mother seemed to think the murder of Brian Thompson was "something he (LM) might be capable of" when speaking to LE. That's a tell for sure.

He well planned Brian's murder ahead of time, carried it out well with the exception of CCTV and DNA. Too bad Luigi, YOU chose to give up that big beautiful life of yours. I bet MDC is not the type of accommodations you are used to. Get used to it buddy, looks like you're going to be there for a while.

I am not surprised by this ruling. Politicians politicized all over the press about this case and that perp walk photo op for the powers that be was a travesty for the sole purpose of political gain. What LM did was wrong and it was murder IMO, but the response by all those that should have known better was stupid and now has jeopardized the pursuit of justice. JMO
