The guy is a loser and wasted his own privileged life and trashed any potential contributions he could have made in his field. His message about health-care coverage seems selfish at this point. And two other young men are suffering the violent loss of their father because of this pretty-boy killer.

BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

And they haven’t removed his social media. The social media always goes fast. Something about this doesn’t fit.

The Facebook and IG are gone

Altoona Pennsylvania is in State College Pennsylvania where there is a satellite campus of Penn State University.

My niece graduated from Penn State’s main campus and my sister and brother-in-law stayed at hotels near Altoona when they visited.

I wonder if maybe LM first attended Penn State before going on to the U of Penn?
Then this area would’ve been familiar to him.

I know a lot of guys who were named Luigi, but all of them prefer to be called Louie. Irrelevant but I wonder if he kept the Luigi as named.

JM speculation.

you mean to tell me that this man planned and successfully pulled off the killing of a major CEO, managed to hide his identity while leaving behind a ton of evidence and a few (only a few) blurry images, then gets caught with the gun and ID by a
McDonald’s employee. And they haven’t removed his social media. The social media always goes fast. Something about this doesn’t fit.
The Odinists have a stranglehold on the iron belt nowadays.

My guess is no. He has a very rich and successful family. What a nightmare for them. I mean, this kid went to the best schools and lived a good life. His parents have (had) a $1.9 M mansion in a golf course community that was owned by the family. Sister is a top doctor. The family owns all sorts of real estate and businesses. They have to be shocked. Still, I bet they hire the top lawyers for him.

I hope they do hire the best lawyers. Lessons the chance of an appeal,as :typically: the better the attorney the better representation

"If you see this, I'm already under arrest," said a caption in the silent 84-second clip posted by the account @PepMangione, which matches other social handles that appear to be those of Luigi Mangione, the man arrested on Monday. The message was accompanied by a countdown from 60 seconds. Near the end of the video, the message, "Soon..." appeared at the bottom right of a black screen. A second caption appeared at the end of the video, saying, "All is scheduled, be patient. Bye for now."

Suspect seemed 'super normal' in college, friend says

The identification of Luigi Mangione as the suspect in the United Healthcare CEO shooting has shocked many, including those who knew him.

A friend who attended college with Mangione at the University of Pennsylvania, an elite, Ivy League school, said the 26-year-old seemed "super normal" and "smart".

"I would never have expected this," his classmate, who asked not to be named, said.

At the University of Pennsylvania, Mangione received both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in engineering, majoring in computer science.

He graduated 🤬🤬🤬 laude, a distinction given to students with good marks.

Local media also reports that Mangione comes from a prominent family in the Baltimore area whose businesses include a country club and nursing homes.

Yes, I completely agree. The politics are kind of weird to explain. Part of my twitter (X) accounts that I follow, some of my algo, aligns with a collection of accounts on twitter called “tpot.” It is entirely boring and I don’t encourage anyone reading to go down the rabbit hole to protect their sanity, but if you are curious and search this on twitter right now you’ll see the chatter about LM. He essentially was somewhat engaged with this collective. It’s not an organized group in anyway, just accounts that talk about certain topics I suppose. Common topics are IQ levels, politics, technology, and psychedelics (yes I said it’s boring! Save yourself) It tends to be more on the right side politically in the vein of Peter Thiel or Sam Altman. I’m sure he picked it up in school. Theres definitely an element of otherness, like this collective consciousness is more elite, etc.
I had a similar take on the X profile. His IQ seems to be part of his identity.

I figure that it will go with the family hiring the top lawyers or the family disowning him because he might be known in the family as the rich kid who refuses to do anything meaningful with his life.

Luigi Mangione will appear […] for a preliminary arraignment on the gun charges he faces in the state.

He has still not been charged in connection with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, although New York police have referred to him as the "suspect".

No video or audio recording will be allowed at the upcoming hearing, and no electronic devices of any kind are permitted.

One of the pictures in his X Profile shows what look like pins in his back...I wonder if this was the bain of his existence and anger at healthcare?

He seemed to withdraw from his friends after that. He had do many old pictures with groups of friends, it's interesting that it all stopped after his injury

Mangione was a member of the UPenn chapter of Phi Kappa Psi. But a person who was also in the fraternity and spoke anonymously to the NY Times said he had heard that Mangione stopped speaking to many people from college over the last year. This particular person told the Times that he last spoke to Mangione in February 2023 around the time he suffered a spine injury.

Does anyone know how he suffered the spine energy? He seems really energetic and agile getting around town in a very quick manner.

CNN Live:

John Miller on the gun:

Talks about ghost guns and how you order the parts and then assemble the gun yourself (YouTube videos help). Suppressor was homemade too. Reason gun probably jammed is the silencer was pulling barrel down. Didn't have Nielsen device that would have stopped that.

This may be the proverbial smoking gun.

Steve Moore (retired FB)

Typically fugitives eventually need help and may have gone to Altuna, which may have been familiar to him.

Surprised it was a Glock type ghost gun because it didn't match that veterinarian gun that police had mentioned.
Could this be the reason his gun jammed (it being a ghost gun)?
