Is this legitimate?
According to @alcaprari23:

"A manifesto found online, with the subtitle, "Luigi Mangione's last words", mentions UnitedHealthcare 7 times, details his mother's physical ailments as well as his own. To be clear, this is not confirmed to be the manifesto found on him today at McDonald's. "

He was seen wearing them after the shooting. They are easy to obtain.

I was talking about when the picture of him (with a cloth mask) on the rock wall was taken

I believe the friend of his that was interviewed on CNN mentioned he had back pain that occurred while surfing.

That could be during his time in in Hawaii, but he is also seen with a blue shirt that says 'Bali", so it may have been elsewhere.
I understood that as he was trying to heal and even surfing hurt.... dunno

What are you talking about? The guy they caught was not charged with murder. He was charged with fraud and stuff. They don’t have enough for murder. Let’s see what they can come up with.
He was not charged with murder in Pennsylvania because he did not commit murder in Pennsylvania. He will be charged with murder in New York and extradited. This is 100% how the process works and I don’t find anything particularly weird about this sequence of events. Do you think police planted all of the evidence on him?

If that is his X-ray, he did get the surgery.

It implies he had pre-authorization.

why does it imply that?
I'm Canadian so all this info re: U.S. insurance coverage is a bit confusing

If there was a back injury, curious if it was sports or a car accident or something else.
I read surfing a few pages back. At least he was having fun when he hurt his back, I was loading bombs on airplanes that wasn’t fun.

Charged before he gets to NY? By whom?
He does not need to be physically present in NY to be charged. Charges will be filed in NY, and then he will be extradited to NY based on those charges.

I sure hope that McDonald's worker is getting his $50,000 reward!!!!! Well deserved!!
The MacDonald's worker made the 911 call after a customer noticed the resemblance and asked them to. I'd rather the money go to the one that IDed him, or split with the one actually making the call as it sounds like the elderly customer didn't have a cell phone (or they'd have called 911 themselves IMO).

Do you think he will contact his family about getting an attorney….or will his family just get one for him?

I’m sure they’ll be in touch with him really soon, and they’ll figure it out.

No way this guy doesn’t wind up with a private attorney. This family has money, and someone would want this case to make a name for themselves regardless.

I think it should be split between the customer who advised the McD's worker to call the police. They worked together.

I will say reading through all the posts over the last few days has resulted in many CORRECT theories .... with plenty more coming I'm sure.

I am totally convinced they got "the guy" .... solely based at this point on the fake id that matched what was presented at the Hostel with the rest of the evidence just supporting it.

Also, KUDO's on the McD's customer who spotted him and brought it to managements attention thus bringing in law enforcement.

It will be interesting over the next few weeks.
