Most likely hacked -- but by a highway worker or what ?
They are prob. already on it to find the source.

Whomever perpetrated this should (imo) receive a hefty fine if not some jail time for threats !
All of this is going to make ordinary people less compassionate towards LM and his health/mental issues.
LM wrote about his mental issues but so far there's been no public mention in msm of a diagnosis, afaik.
So far for now, it's just 'talk' ?

Looks like we may never know, if the defense atty. uses the Hippa laws to keep it under wraps.
But then LM's lawyer can't really use mental illness as a solid defense.
Imo LM has a rage problem and also is an injustice collector, but not necessarily insane.
Omo.
This one is bad. But funny ones are common. "hacked road signs".

It sounded like HI was his home earlier this year. Then he left HI to see a doctor on the East Coast.
Did he get the surgery?
Who helped him with his recovery after his surgery?
Even though in July 2024 he told his mother he worked for TrueCar that was an untruth.
TrueCar confirmed he was no longer employed with their company since 2023.
Did he stay in San Francisco or at the time of working for TrueCar was it remote work for TM, therefore, never lived in SF?
Anyway, I am saying his home was HI from articles Ive read.
He apparently a world traveler.

From the same article
“NYPD officials say they're concerned that Mangione could inspire wider violence.

There are also posters that we've seen online and in New York with various CEOs' pictures on them ... These are perceived threats, and it is important for everybody to know that we will take these threats very seriously," Weiner said.”

Makes sense for LE and everyone to be alert. People are angry. About A Lot.
This craven act by the killer has tapped in and opened up the flood gates for many imo.
So so many people sharing their horror stories and very real anguish and anger. So in some respects that could be cathartic for people to open up and know they are not alone even if it’s just reading others stories.
On the other hand it could create/ spawn the violence LE refers to.
Seems like we could use a voice of reason/ adult in the room. I’m just not sure who that is anymore.

Too bad this level of policy engagement wasn’t around in November. Seriously though, I get the anger with corporate greed but I find it ironic that we just had a presidential election and things didn’t exactly move away from privatization. My comment isn’t directed towards you personally just commenting on the societal response to LM. Moo

I believe in the Silent Majority theory. The keyboard warriors squawk the loudest; however, I do not think that the majority of Americans are siding with LM. Those who are on his side are definitely ignoring his wealth and privilege and his family ties to capitalism. Not many have been afforded the luxuries that he has. I mean, for his youth, he sure has traveled quite a bit and experienced more than many do in a lifetime. Now, that happens to include murder.

Ooo... I have good reason to be very interested in the research of injustice collectors. Is there something in Luigi's history that leads you to believe he is other than this one issue?

I guess if he was short, fat and not pleasant to look at, plus non-educated-- just a regular guy who did this murder, the media wouldn't be glamourizing him and helping to make him a hero!
He is going to have so many women lining up to be his prison wife because his family is worth a lot, and they will take superb care of whomever he ultimately marries. Opportunistic women will crawl out of the woodwork…

I wonder where he was on that date, and what was he doing... was he celebrating or not celebrating US 4th of July festivities?

I believe this happened when he was in Hawaii, possibly Honolulu

I dont believe the majority "siding with him" are ignoring his wealth. I think they admire that he chose to "rail against an unjust system" DESPITE his obvious privilege & wealth. Poor people generally know why it's not the poorest among us that can champion causes. They're too busy just trying to eat and stay out of the cold and rain everyday. They dont have the luxury and LOVE a person that takes on a cause they cannot afford to do anything about. Also, it's no accident that the majority of protesters over time have been college students before jobs, mortgages, car notes, kids, and INSURANCE payments lock them down.

Did he live elsewhere in HI before he moved he moved into the high rise apts with roommates? ETA: Roommate said LM told him he had a back issue when he moved in.

Brian Thompson murder is 'similar to' a 'domestic terrorism attack,' says NYPD counterterror chief

By Kaydi Pelletier and Amanda Woods
While investigators have not characterized the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson as a terror attack, the murder's "impact is similar to that of a domestic terror attack," an NYPD counterterrorism official said.

"I think regardless of what the courts determine the motivation to be, the impact is similar to that of a domestic terror attack, and that is already being reflected in this just 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 of online vitriol that we've been in the midst of since last Wednesday, and the lionization of the alleged perpetrator of the murder as a hero," Rebecca Weiner, deputy commissioner of the NYPD's Counterterrorism Bureau, said during a panel discussion Wednesday in Washington, DC, about the future of US counterterrorism policy.

-"So when we are concerned about terrorism, it is in part because of outsized impact of a particular act of violence," she said. "This one has all the hallmarks of something that is going to inspire and contribute to a contagion effect given all of those factors."

I think he was lashing out at the world and was smart enough to pick a victim that others would agree is a "bad guy," as opposed to shooting children at a school or people enjoying the nightlife at a club. He's a smart guy and he knew people sympathize with innocent victims like that.

He needed a hated victim so he could behave like a barbarian and pretend he wasn't.

I think he is simply disturbed in his thinking, angry, lost, and, importantly, armed. Health insurance wasn't the cause of his anger, imo - he was angry first and looked for someone to punish second. If his target wasn't this CEO, it would've been someone else who people think he was "justified" to kill.

Initially he lived in a co-living, co-working space. Those rooms run from $1605 to $3305. It looks like you get a small room to yourself. Later he moved into the private high-rise 2 bedroom apartment that was around $3300 a month. I would assume he had a roommate in that apartment.

I won't even pretend to understand why anyone would "side" with a murderer.

I thought the high-rise apartment had multiple people living there just per the roommate interview on CNN. I guess I missed something (entirely possible).
