Um, didn't Luigi have a document in his possession that outlined his disdain for the American healthcare system and insurance companies? Seems like a pretty good reason to assume that was his motive if he killed Thompson.

"Alleged?" It actually exists and what it says can easily be found by a simple Google search, Heck, a podcast that recently covered the case read the entire document.

With all due respect, and not specifically addressed to any particular post…… but IMO mention and introduction of mental health (MH) issues - in terms of either the accused LM, or the individual that attempted to free him - and alluding to either a cause or reason or excuse for such behavior is wrong. And in particular without any evidentiary or other validation.

It is also a disservice and deprecating to any that might suffer from such conditions - and who don’t do criminal acts or offenses such that these two are accused of doing. IANAL. MOO

You seem to forget that we aren't the jurors, and we know much of what evidence will be presented. We are the "Court of Public Opinion" and as such are entitled to our opinions. LE seems to think that Luigi did it and that's why he's the one facing trial. Motive isn't necessary to establish guilt.
