Yes and I should note it actually runs close to 50 minutes with trump whining on and on about Obama and Biden and Hunter Biden. It is very revealing to listen to the discussions leading up to the loud exchange starting with Vance claiming Zelenskyy was ungrateful. Ib reality Zelenskyy was very grateful and eager about the deal up until that point, so Vance was apparently not listening at all. By then Z may have gotten weary of all trump's self-aggrandizement and his unnecessary political ranting, however his demeanor showed a lot of self control.

Yeah, was hoping to avoid that if possible. Saw several clips- enough to catch the vibe - and I don’t think I can watch the whole thing. But have saved the linked posted above, for reading tomorrow. I may end up scanning through the video to see body languages etc for more context. Maybe with the sound turned off or something. Thank you!

It starts before Vance ever says a word. It starts with the eye rolls by President Zelenskyy, throughout. You won’t find in a transcript, Z calling V the b word in his language. UGH even President Biden found Z to be ungrateful. tbh

Based upon the opinions expressed here in US and in Europe Zelenskyy has come out on top. He has gotten strong commitments from EU nations and also he is free of constraints placed on him by trump and prior administrations. I see him making a huge surge in ousting Putin from his borders and perhaps striking bigger targets inside Russia.

BBM Actually, Ukraine just did this today by conducting one of the deepest strikes of the war hitting Russia’s Ufa Oil Refinery. It's over 1300 km from the frontline. I posted a couple of tweets about it a few pages back that show the refinery burning.

Maybe zelensky will sign it and then try to weasel out of it. That wouldn't surprise me.

The Russian occupiers are currently staging a supposed ‘public vote’ before removing the monument to Taras Shevchenko in occupied Luhansk. Since such monuments to the great Ukrainian poet existed even in Soviet times, Russia cannot simply ban his works as ‘extremist’, as it has other Ukrainian writers. People were, however, persecuted by the Soviet regime for gathering around such monuments and reciting Shevchenko’s poems, and Russia immediately reinstated such methods of repression in occupied Crimea.

LOL. I was thinking it wouldn’t surprise me if Trump would weasel out of an agreement. He is the man who didn’t pay contractors in NYC. And who lied over 30,000 times during his first administration and is still lying.

Zelenskyy did not reneg on it the first time, he has said over and over again that security MUST be part of any deal with the US. It was never a straight minerals deal for him.

Weasel went to Vermont to ski other day, met with peaceful, sign holding protesters along the road. He didn't like that. Where's his head, haha. The beautiful mountain is a place/type of area this 'admin' wants to trash. Again, what was he thinking. He doesn't. WRONNNNNNG place buddy and state and entered into mainly heavily intelligent community of people in New England. Oil and water that was.

I'm sure that Vice President Vance and the Second Lady, Usha Vance, and their children still managed to have a nice weekeend away from work, family time, at least I hope so. They have a young family, three children, I believe, and the time away at a ski resort was a great vacation, I'm sure.

Yep, Vance accused Britain of not having free speech - to the British Prime Minister! Talk about insulting and trying to pick a fight and showing no respect!

Vice President Vance's speech was critical in terms of the issue of freedom of speech which is one of the hallmarks of western democracy and it is disappearing from the UK and EU, and the Vice President gave examples of how free speech is being denied to citizens abroad. It was an excellent speech, IMO, and very timely and with no time to lose.
