From what I’m reading via some of these posts today, it’s reading to me like he potentially was preparing for the crimes in early to mid-2022. It’s almost as if that’s why he went to Pullman. He’s killing 5 months later…

JMO
I've always thought what he wanted to do was mass murder of young women.

Agree. It would be conspicuous in that area,
But the missing minutes on the way to Moscow has a book end of missing minutes leaving Moscow.

I think he had prepared a hiding hole on a rural cross road, and that he went to check on it before he went to Indian Hills, and after the murders dropped his crime bundle in the hole.
He might have retrieved it from there any time or it still could be there.
My theory as well. Thought he'd want to go visit his trophy from time to time.

IMO - I don’t believe anything AT says. MOO.
True.
Maybe AT was sure they would negotiate life, given the evidence, but then Mrs. K is forced a trial AT didn't think would happen (for good reason.)

He might have had multiple hiding holes. He apparently had plenty of time to waste, doing all the driving he did the next day. Just these little blanks are missing between certain known activities. They can be maddening.

For me, this is the only thing that the defense can hammer away at-no blood or victim DNA was found in his car.
I would love to know if any DNA was there, other than his. Was his Dad’s still there, from the drive back to PA, or was that gone too? What can be detected in a car that was cleaned six ways till Sunday?
The defense can try and hammer away at the fact that 'no forensics' was found in BK's Elantra.

But the prosecution is going to put some of BK's University papers into evidence---papers where BK describes the steps he would take to prevent his DNA and fingerprints from tainting a crime scene. In the paper he discusses plastic booties, coveralls, masks, etc.

I think that will calm the jurors concerns about the lack of blood in the vehicle, IMO.

😂 I did the same thing with Laticia Stauch. You should have saw me running around the house. Lol!! My hubby was laughing at me, yet helping me! Lol!!
I think I want to know what happened in that house that night more than I want to know what happened in any other case.

I've said all along that BK is not smart. I've been a university-level educator for a long time, and I've learned that students with good grades are not always endowed with critical thinking or common sense thinking skills. And it's thought that psychopaths have problems with impulse control.
Yup, big difference between book smart and street smart, and he's definitely the former.

I am chiming in here with my own experience. If there is a restore point,, you can system restore and get it back. If you delete and don't Defrag, you can usually get information back. There are cleaner programs that delete and wipe, but there would be evidence of that use. But what lot of people don't realize is you can delete browser history and it's often still in your temp files. Microsoft is lousy at cleanup. And you can see activity on your router. Also, if you use Google and sync between devices with web activity enabled, you can get the history that way depending on circumstances. Sometimes Sync wipes out everything on all devices, sometimes it doesnt. Google also has a My Activity if it was enabled. Other browsers have their own quirks. My experience, anyway.

I don't know that BK was all that technically inclined, really. It depends on the browser, his personal set up, and how far he knew to go. Most people don't go far enough.
Absolutely valid possibilities. I brought up his technical ability and the possibility of a VPN, as one was referenced in the 11424-Motion-Suppress-Memorandum. As I dig deeper in this case myself, it's clear that he had multiple other email addresses and even possibly Reddit accounts associated with them.

"For Google Warrant Two, January 24, 2023 a new email is referenced as having been found in Google warrant one data return: yewsirneighm@gmail. See Exhibit B 5. Also added was “a high probability a VPN was identified in Google return"

It's interesting to me that it seems like he tried to be SO meticulous and careful about some things but then he also did drop his knife sheath directly at the crime scene. genuinely baffling.
True, but is there anything more stressful, chaotic and overwhelming than stabbing 4 strangers to death?

Well, he was a punster, at least for that email.

MOO he was not aware that during vigorous exertion coveralls basically expel everything out of pockets so the sheath, which probably was pushed deep in a back pocket came out while getting across MM to KG.

I tend to think he was holding it in his left hand, as he intended to commit a single murder (MM). He'd stab her to death, res-sheath the knife, and walk out of there.

Once he realizes that someone else is in bed with her, his plan falls apart. He strikes me as the type of guy who doesn't adapt well to surprises, and can't think on his feet. He puts the sheath down, as he's now got a second person to deal with. Perhaps KG began to stir, and he punches her to regain control. He was apparently into boxing, so he could have used his left hand for this, or simply turned his knife hand horizontally and struck her.

He's all thrown off at this point and just wants to get out of there. Then he encounters Xana...

Definitely could be that. But I do think it was accidental to leave it behind.

Oh there's no question in my mind he accidentally left it behind. My only question is when he realized he did that. You can make an argument for any scenario as far as that goes.

Yikes! And yikes!

Both of these posts—-just thinking so specifically about precisely how he dropped the sheath by Maddie really brings it all to the forefront.

@Boxer I cast my mind back over my lifetime and I honestly believe I’ve never worn coveralls in my life. It didn’t even occur to me that he may have pocketed it and subsequently it fell out in that manner.

I tend to think he put it down to deal with the unanticipated Kaylee, as @MassGuy mentioned, but pockets is an interesting thought. Particularly as we do speculate that he was dressed to cover up as much as possible.

I believe a billion % that he left it by accident, not as some kind of calling card. He was disrupted by the presence of more people than he’d bargained for, had to rush, and didn’t even realize it until after he’d left the house.

IMO

Thank you!! 😎
Okay, I hit the interesting parts with approximate timestamps so you can go back and watch that portion if you want to. This is all highly paraphrased since we're not doing court record here lol. Unless indicated, it's SG talking or me paraphrasing what he said.

10:01 ...he had stalked that place out 23 times at least that we know, he had done more than that, there's some surveillance that shows that some of the days that he was there, he didn't have his phone on. You know, people got hung up and even myself over the stalking, surveilling, whatever definition you want, he didn't have reasons to be in that location within 100 yards...

10:39 ...and I can guarantee you they've checked his bank records and seen if he was actually shopping...

10:58 ...we talked with the prosecution, we're just like let's make sure we've checked bank records, let's make sure we can define everything that this individual is doing when he was making these trips...you're talking about 23 trips, can that person make a perfect backstory every single time they're driving out there. Sure, some days you can go to Winco and pick up a six-pack but it takes true discipline to do it every single time and I know mistakes were made...

12:54 ...I think there was multiple times he went there and he thought it was going to be the night and he got frustrated because there was a party or there were some people there and he wasn't allowed to do it so he made a rash decision, you know he he rushed himself and he went and did it...

15:34 ...(discussing markings and damages on KG, that there was more to what happened to them) I'll say he struck my daughter, I'll give that out. He punched her...he punched my daughter right in the face...

15:55 ...there's more to it but I got, I'm going to have to sit down with...and make sure I don't say something that's going to play into the case and tie anyone's hands...

17:08 (talking about when they met with the FBI at the satellite office before BK was arrested and they laid out a profile)...it's going to look different than a crime where somebody sneaks in, gets out, doesn't leave a bunch of evidence, a bunch of blood trails out. Early on they said they think this individual picked this community, wouldn't be surprised if he was on Washington side hugging the border. (Talks about Lewis and Clark murders and FBI speculated the area could have been chosen because they don't have a history of IDing their serial killers).

19:03 (talking about how the family had an investigator and early online presence and received a lot of information because of that)

19:25 ...we knew about the sheath before it ever came forward. We knew about the white car day one. (they didn't give out info on certain things because they didn't want fake clues)

24:41 ...I'm trying to help people understand how we know for a fact that JD (KG's boyfriend) isn't involved. there is the whole CAST, went into that neighborhood and people are going to understand that the CAST detail is, though we didn't get some of the timing records, there's still a lot of information that they did get and JD is one of the people where they did get the timing records. Which let you go within feet so they knew when JD's phone was moving. When he was in his bed sleeping and moving around, whether that was under his pillow or was on his blankets or whatever. So they have absolute certainty where JD was that night.

26:46 (this was a little unclear--he refers to grand jury members talking, refers to Blum, some of the other people that are recorded, some things they said)

26:46 ...I remember one of the greatest questions that one of them asked--they asked the judge to verify if he ever had a fishing or a hunting license since he bought the Kbar, since it was delivered to his house, and he didn't (talks in general about the people who will be on the jury are smart and if BK thought they would be a bunch of hillbillies he's mistaken)

28:00 (talking about JD--quiet, never raised his voice or insulted KG, they're planning to spend time together fishing)

29:35 (asked how he found out about the arrest--they called his lawyer Shanon Gray, who called them and sent some pdfs, one of which was the PCA)

31:10 (I'm unclear about this part--something about Andrew Garrett discovery? This had to do with social media connections, was BK following any of the girls, etc.)

31:46 ...it was kind of confusing at the very beginning and I'm sure it was confusing for the investigators because I went in there one day with family and we were like what happened to the LinkedIn, why were you guys into our account? Why did you remove it? (the investigators had no idea what he was talking about and he later on figured out that it was the FBI and that there were two parallel investigations going on, that the FBI wanted clear lines, who would be working on what, and that the feds were working on the stalking angle)

33:48 (there was discussion here about strategy--it seems that SG offered to let them drop the charges for KG and use her as a back-up for a federal prosecution in case something went sideways with the state prosecution. DT, the host, mentioned that BK had crossed state lines to go and park at their residence for at least an hour on one of those nights he had been there. There had been some back and forth between the state and feds about who would take the case and ultimately the FBI felt it was Idaho's case and they should have it)

47:07 ...there was a time where I was trying to be very open about who it was (talking about BK being the killer) but they laid it out in a way that still hasn't come out, there's stuff that is going to literally blow people's mind...

48:00 (talking about alternate suspects and SG said that AT is using the list of tips they, the family, generated before BK was arrested and he was laughing about the irony of that)

50:00 (this was a discussion about a possible tethered phone and vpn and tech stuff that I know some here will find pretty interesting)

53:21 (host asked about him saying that that BK's phone touched the wi-fi at King Road--SG said he knows some stuff that's not public, they were trying to get a hold of records on the router, may have misread what he saw because it would have come out by now)

1:03:52 (talking about stargazing at the park) ...we know exactly all about that park, we've talked to the person that worked at that park, there's cameras at that park...

1:05:12 ...I just thought when that Amazon order went to his door and he's deleting his history and his own family is like what the heck is going on, our brother's like losing his mind...

1:07:17 (talking about the Reddit survey) ...we had people write us letters that were like I was one of the people interviewed and he was obsessed with how I was picking my victims. He was picking victims. This guy said I told him I picked my victims after they called 911 or their neighbors called 911 on them for a noise complaint and the husband or the boyfriend was hauled off to jail. Then he would go and he goes there are certain neighborhoods where they had money, then I would go in there because I knew the male wasn't there and he said BK called him back repeatedly and he said I got the sense that he was really enjoying my stories and how I was telling passed out women butt naked and he went into those and was just like he really liked my story. He really liked that. And then I started wondering, well who was calling 911 on these kids, especially in the daytime in the middle of the day. They're next to a stadium, a football stadium. How do you get a noise complaint in a college town in the daytime. So, you know, maybe you're trying to figure out how long it takes them to show up.

1:08:32 ...if you were to call 911 while there's a party does everybody not come back...and if you get a warning that if we come back here we're going to find you, somebody's going to jail. Might be a time where you want to sneak in or do a little surveillance around that house because that might be the time where you want to go in there because the last thing they want to do is pick up and call 911...

1:13:38 (talking about the ASD diagnosis) ...I heard that came from his mom who went and dug through old records...somebody went and found some of his old records and tried to convince the defense that they could use those to make an excuse for his odd behavior because there's going to be student after student after student to talk about how they had a running tally on this guy of all the weirdness that he was doing and the inappropriate behavior that this guy had...(there's some talk here about an accusation at WSU, an investigation and that he was cleared and maybe why things were being written down)

1:19:19 ...people who talk all this madness about DM, she's been huge to the case, actually massive to the case, and you're going to find out that the late 911 call is actually going to be probably the final nail in his coffin so there's even benefits to the most tragic parts. I mean a late call, if it leads to different evidence then it's a good thing. And I say that knowing my daughter wasn't going to survive.

1:20:21 (talks about the blood evidence, it wasn't all over the place, at least two victims drowned in their own stab wounds and that explains why the blood was contained)

1:21:49 (talking about the knife and other evidence) ...I know some of the background of where they looked and what they were trying to find... (probably buried, the shovel in his car is not one used for snow, it's used for dirt)

1:32:40 (notes that 14 hours after the thumbs up picture he called in sick, only day he ever called in, talked about exclusive knowledge again--if you know about certain parts of a crime before it's made public or maybe before it even happens it's pretty damning)

1:33:25 ...when I say family I believe it's just one sister that was really really helpful...(talking about the knife order) ...somebody was able to tell them exactly when that happened even though the history had been deleted...

1:35:29 ...he had been removed from so many different situations because some girl came forward all the way up to WSU, all the way to WSU they were still, he was still getting away with it, still being able to harass these girls and you know it's a very frustrating thing to see how many failures led to your daughter's death...

1:38:26 (talking about the exclusive knowledge gained from the late 911 call again) ...he felt very confident to return to that scene at 9:00 right? I wonder why he felt so confident...

Anyone can feel free to copy and paste and fill in gaps.

Thank you so much for all this hard work!!!!!!

I am going to guess the 2 that drown in their own blood was Maddie and Ethan. 😔
