Ugh, a big pic of him
Good view of his prominent eyebrow ridge which contributes to the bushy eyebrow affect.
Ugh, a big pic of him
You can go to his Videos tab and watch just the information. He does a multi hour live, but he also does condensed information under Videos. They are quite well done, without the side talking.lol, an hour and 14 minutes in I have to give up. He is quite fond of himself, huh?
Can you define non-transfer DNA for us?Transfer DNA.

Get out of my head. Can you define non-transfer DNA for us?
I feel like single source is another one of those terms that’s become weaponized based on the way that you’re leaning. As, like ‘transfer’, it’s often (MOO) associated with incomplete profiles.Get out of my head.
Single source, if I’m not mistaken.![]()

2 year old article, apparently we've known for a long time he called in sick on that Monday. I'd forgotten that detail.
Embedded bodycam footage of the execution of the search warrant for his apartment if anyone is interested in(re)watching.

There has been a few documents talking about what a likelihood ratio is.I think

They pulled a full blown male profile that matched BK 5 quintillion (prosecutors said it, not me) to one.
Expanding our search for the next most likely offender to the nearest 3 or 4 Universes.

Not going to help the defense even if they object to the form of the question. DNA with a single source male match to BK in unimaginable statical odds will be a big hit with the jury, rightly so IMO.There has been a few documents talking about what a likelihood ratio is.
Statistical MIL
In grandjury testimony, Jade Miller testified as to the results oftesting done on Item Q1.1, the sheath strap and inner snap. The statistic reported by the lab is a likelihood ratio (LR). Miller testified that the LR compares the probability of the evidence, meaning the DNA profile obtained, and comparing two different hypotheses. GJ Transcript at 368 Id Miller reported the statistic for this comparison, but the State posed the following question to Miller Miller responded © Id From Miller's answer to this question, it is clear that the comparison to the world population is not an appropriate or scientific way to discuss the LR.
Judge Order
I. Defendant's MIL #14 re: Statistical Analysis Defendant moves in limine to exclude any misleading comments about the meaning ofa "likelihood ratio" for DNA purposes. Specifically, Defendant seeks to avoid attempts to define likelihood ratio through a comparison to the world population.® The State agrees that this type of comparison is inappropriate. The Court GRANTS Defendant's motion insofar as it applies to the question asked by the prosecutor at the grand jury proceedings, which both sides agree was not proper. However, the Court will not dictate how the question is to be asked at trial. If Defendant believes there is a similar misrepresentation as to the likelihood ratio at trial, he can object at that time.

True.Okay, folks.
Transfer is what is sounds like. It is literally DNA being transferred from one place to another. This can be directly or indirectly. It can be a primary or secondary transfer.

DNA transfer in forensic science: A review
Understanding the variables impacting DNA transfer, persistence, prevalence and recovery (DNA-TPPR) has become increasingly relevant in investigations…www.sciencedirect.com
Transfer DNA is literally just DNA that has moved from a person to a thing or another person or an environment. It can be composed of any biological material containing DNA, not just blood, semen, etc.

Especially with the incredible amount of corroboration. This isn't a case where the DNA has issues, because other pieces don't fit - they couldn't fit more perfectly here (knife purchase, car, car movements, cell phone powering down, etc). Not going to help the defense even if they object to the form of the question. DNA with a single source male match to BK in unimaginable statical odds will be a big hit with the jury, rightly so IMO.

Know what else? Calling in sick -- complex, executive function.Wowzers! I just don't remember that. SG said BK had never called in sick before.
He probably needed to stay home and sleep. Would be interesting to know, and we may learn, how much time he spent at home between midnight Friday night and 8 am Monday morning. I think the day before, kept him awake, anticipating what he was going to do, maybe even doing a trial run, the excitement of it all, like a kid who can't sleep on Christmas Eve. I bet there was very little time at home, for sleep that weekend, either before or after the killings, and when he was home, he was probably glued to a tv or computer/phone, trying to find any and all coverage of the murders. That missing sheath probably kept him awake too. JMOWowzers! I just don't remember that. SG said BK had never called in sick before.
If BK wrapped the knife in, say, a t-shirt, and that's what DM identified as "like a handheld vacuum, he might not have been aware he didn't have the sheath. The knife would have been very bloody, the sheath was probably far from his mind, more concerned with getting the H out of there. He probably needed to stay home and sleep. RBBM..True.
The Judges order
However, the Court requests that the parties instruct their witnesses to avoid use of terms "touch DNA", "contact DNA" and "trace DNA."
During the hearing, the Judge requested the parties decide what term to use.
What term is left?
BB used the term transfer during the hearing.
Maybe they will add skin cells as a descriptor?

IMO There's some dysfunctional stuff going on in that family. And I have noticed an only boy child is often momma's little prince. Just sayin'. My experience with men in life. "My lil Bry would never do this!"And moreover, who think, their little boy (which is maybe when intense therapy could have helped) would go on to murder 4?
Given that one (or both?) of his sister’s are in the therapy space, it would be really interesting to hear their perspective.
