I am too. I can not believe this! If this is allowed, it seems to be grounds for a mistrial, before the trial even begins, IMO!
It's not, no worries, they've put them up on all the streetlights in the town square. None are on the courthouse

Are they jumping right into opening statements at 9AM or are there motions first? How about a jury charge? Just wondering how much we'll be hearing at the first break.

We do not know if she said she saw Richard Allen specifically. We know she said she saw a man similar to the man in Libby’s video.

Maybe not you specifically, but many people are so convinced RA is BG that they forget that literally NO ONE identified Richard Allen as who they saw, to the best of our knowledge from information released so far. And it was made clear today that even the witnesses who contributed to the sketch cannot say the person they saw was RA.

And on top of that, we also learned that rhe sketch of old BG was based on a photo of old BG, which renders it useless.
BBM

I didn’t forget. I just don’t see it as relevant.

I find it offensive that the community is being insulted for their innocence and naivety when it comes to blaming their fellow residents.

Richard Allen was an invisible little nobody. No reports of his being a community leader, neighborhood watch, municipality community committee member, no clubs, just some pool playing at the pub.

RA didn’t have any visibility in the community to come to anyone attention, imo.

I wouldn’t recognize or even contemplate my pharmacy workers as I would be thinking I was looking for a monster; someone I could identify as such at a glance. Not the invisible enemy lurking at my store.

And no one apparently has recognized BG as anyone else most notably also not the men whose names were drug through the mud by the wrongly accusing sm consumers.

All imo

Such a small Courthouse, I can understand how there is room for only 72 people. This is a case of a picture is worth 1,000 words.

MOO

I feel for the jury. That is a very small room... they will be that close to a man accused of murdering two little girls, they will be that close to autopsy photos. Things they will never be able to unsee. All in the name of duty and justice. It rests on them.

Didn't one of the witnesses pick Jimmy Duvall out of a photo lineup? Jimmy Duvall is a sex offender who looks very similar to RA. This is the primary reason I fully believe RA is bridge guy. Forget the sketches. And I doubt they would have had RA's photo to use in a lineup but I feel like if they did, the witness may have chosen him instead and this thing would have been over years ago.

Oh I forgot to mention at yesterday's hearing the defense proposed and the judge agreed to let all the 3 day hearing testimonies to be considered offers of proof in the trial. Defense said to help saving time in having to call them again to testify. So I'm thinking that 120 witnesses may have been knocked down a bit.

Do you know what lawsuit are they discussing?

Some clarity on where the ribbons honoring Abby and Libby are located. They don’t seem to be on the courthouse…just on street lamps surrounding the area.

Slightly OT, but I love the interior design of the court room, especially those beautiful chandeliers. Also love how they coordinated the grays and browns.

I am optimistic that he will be found guilty.
IMO 75% Guilty and 20% hung jury% and 5% non guilty. I think and hope he will found guilty but I think there is also a small possibility of a hung jury because could be 1 or 2 jurors who want DNA or more than circunstancial evidence..
