I don’t comment much but I was here on the day the girls were first missing and I’m here today. May the truth be heard.

I didn’t forget. I just don’t see it as relevant.

I find it offensive that the community is being insulted for their innocence and naivety when it comes to blaming their fellow residents.

Richard Allen was an invisible little nobody. No reports of his being a community leader, neighborhood watch, municipality community committee member, no clubs, just some pool playing at the pub.

RA didn’t have any visibility in the community to come to anyone attention, imo.

I wouldn’t recognize or even contemplate my pharmacy workers as I would be thinking I was looking for a monster; someone I could identify as such at a glance. Not the invisible enemy lurking at my store.

And no one apparently has recognized BG as anyone else most notably also not the men whose names were drug through the mud by the wrongly accusing sm consumers.

All imo
What I’m saying is, to the best of my knowledge based on the information we have so far, none of the witnesses who said they saw a man at the trails that day have said it was Richard Allen, after his arrest.

I’m not saying they should have recognized him in the community. Just that they have not recognized him as being the man they saw that day.

Again, that’s based on the information we have so far. But we know the witnesses for a fact that they witnesses who helped create the sketches can’t identify him.

I've just joined to follow on this case. I've been around for a while but I cannot believe this day has finally got here.
I hope those girls get justice in whatever form and I hope the truth comes out.
Seeing the probable cause video and the time the murderer spent with them just makes me feel so sad.

We won't know that until they testify.

No cameras, no phones in the courtroom.... so no live tweets either? Is the public (aka us :)) only privy to updates from media at breaks and the end of the day then?

Unfortunately, yes.

We all know that eyewitness testimony is lower on the totem pole in fact-based evidence...

Eyewitness testimony has convicted many innocent people... thank goodness real science based factual evidence has exonerated them.

It looks like we have some of both here

The new stuff Lawyer Lee talked about? No I don't know exactly what is was all about, just what she said, falsifying an affidavit.

Who falsified an affidavit?

Does anyone have a good list of twitter handles for journalists covering this case?
I've added these but wondered if there were others?

Does anyone read books anymore? Jurors could bring their own book to read and the state would not need to provide any entertainment. But maybe that's too old school.
I could do books, knit, or crochet. Wonder if I could take my tablet for endless e-books? Being away from all family would be the hard part. MOO.

I want to hear RA speak his truth...but I think we'll only get to read it? If his audio/video and letters get admitted to evidence does the media get a copy?

Any evidence that is submitted as well as any audio/video recordings in a court trial are apparently public records in Indiana.

I'm wondering though if certain material can be suppressed from public viewing if too sensitive. Eg Crime photos.

I am too. I can not believe this! If this is allowed, it seems to be grounds for a mistrial, before the trial even begins, IMO!

Seems to me initial Tweets/X about the placement of ribbons were misstated:

Some clarity on where the ribbons honoring Abby and Libby are located. They don’t seem to be on the courthouse…just on street lamps surrounding the area.

Are you aware that Richard Allen puts himself at the park and on the bridge?

Do you know what he said he was wearing?

How important are the witnesses when RA came forward freely to DD to say he was there at that time?

The witnesses gave statements in retrospect.

It is not proper for witnesses to report to anyone beyond LE what they saw and heard.

It is not the witnesses place to make conjectures.

Witnesses are not fair game for picking on as all they are asked to provide is what they saw or heard to the best of their recollection.

all imo

Ive been following since day 3. Im so incredibly grateful that today it is happening. Coming from Australia.

A few questions, why is he charged 4 counts of murder?

Is he up for the death penalty?
And has he plead not guilty?
