Ok, so those sketches being chucked simplifies things.
I've wondered about crimes that he may have committed before this one. Seems like quite a violent act for it to be his first one MOO.I'm left wondering if RA committed more crimes in the 5 years he was free to roam. I guess I'm pretty confident the prosecution will prevail. mOO
Oh my.
Is the defense team wanting to bring this up in this trial?
I haven't seen anything about that, either. None of the fillings I've read have any mention of such a thing; can you link it?

Thank you, arielilane!
Thanks for this. I was thinking the same -- especially knowing the State already admitted exhibits and drones to avoid the same.My impression is that they filed to withdraw after all the jurors were selected.
They may have looked at the jurors, made an assessment as to whether or not some of the jurors would have significant issues getting to all the areas, and decided it would not be feasible.
Same here.I've wondered about crimes that he may have committed before this one. Seems like quite a violent act for it to be his first one MOO.
I disagree. The sketches were use as part of the investigation to generate leads. Police sketches of suspects based on witness IDs have always been very hit or miss. They are not intended to serve as positive identifications. JMOI think it is an appalling decision by the Judge to exclude the sketches
Sorry I linked it wrong. It's on the Delphi Media thread #2. Pg 20, post #400I think you linked me to the wrong one. That one interviews BM and another defense atty with no discussion about a falsified affidavit.

He's certainly an outlier, as there are a couple strange things here. First is that he doesn't have a criminal record; there's almost always a build up to something like this. Secondly, double child abductions are incredibly rare. While watching that Evansdale documentary on HBO, I learned that there have been something like 17 events like that since 1970.I've wondered about crimes that he may have committed before this one. Yes those are confidential. I don't know about RA's confessions?Any evidence that is submitted as well as any audio/video recordings in a court trial are apparently public records in Indiana.
I'm wondering though if certain material can be suppressed from public viewing if too sensitive. Eg Crime photos.
And two or three of those double events are linked to the Texas Killing Fields cluster, possibly by the same perpetrator. So it's even rarer than it seems. He's certainly an outlier, as there are a couple strange things here. Then I guess we'll never hear them entirely nor read them. Maybe after the trial. They won’t get a copy but they’ll get approximately 22 seconds each to look at evidence after trial each day, during a 15 min block of time Gull has graciously permitted them.
