So this just made me think about something, I’m in no way stating this as proof that he was checking his stocks but I find it interesting.

I personally will check crypto charts if it’s a particularly green or red day no matter where I am, I could be on a scenic walk or at home and if the markets are moving heavy in either direction I’ll be watching them.

On February 13, 2017

“Benchmarks scaled fresh highs on Friday and registered their third successive weekly gains on President Trump’s promise to unveil a new tax plan. As a result of these announcements, the S&P 500 logged its fourth consecutive session of gains, closing at a record level for the second straight occasion. In fact, all the four major U.S. stock indexes including the Dow, the S&P 500, the Nasdaq and the Russell 2000 registered record closing highs, marking the first ‘grand slam’ in two months. The Dow climbed on the back of gains made by Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) and Nike, Inc. ( NKE) which increased by 2.5% and 1.7%, respectively.”

Fair enough, but his phone should be showing up on the geofence if that’s the case.

So I discount it on two levels: the account not ringing true, but more importantly, what the data says.

I do think he was looking down though, in an attempt to obscure his face.

Yes, you would hope RA's defense team would have read all the necessary documents to be totally informed. A box cutter was also mentioned in an incriminating statement RA made i prison. If RA's defense was fully versed on RA's statements and confessions, they should have expected it might come up as a question asked by the prosecution of the pathologist on the stand. AJMO
Is there a source that one of his statements or confessions mentioned a box cutter? I know Nick Mcleland mentioned it to the odinist expert on cross during the motions that “if the suspect said that they used a box cutter would that change your stance” but I have never heard any information stating that there is a confession regarding that, although I know that people are expecting there to be because of nicks statement.

That's cool.

I'm suggesting it has been manipulated to make it sound like a "man" has said words.
I'm confused. You think LE techs have manipulated the BG voice to sound like a man when it was what, a woman?

Be sure and vote in our Websleuths Delphi Poll.
We'll put up a new poll before court each day.

At the end of court on 10/26 the results are;
Guilty and acted along 69.6
Guilty but had help 3.2%
Not Guilty 12.0%
I don't know 15.2%

I don't know much about this geofencing at all, either, but I do know that logically, he said he had a phone on those trails and it would definitely cause a ping for that ticker. So there needs to be a ping for that, and if there's not, that's pretty much it for him in my mind. If he says he wasn't using that particular phone, why did he give that phone to Dulin? RA had to know Dulin was requesting the phone he had on the trails just a handful of days before the meeting.
Great point. Carriers should have records at least the phones he had on his plan.

Yes, mentioned by ISP Holeman and maybe also ISP Harshman (not positive if he also touched on it too) at the 3 day hearings.

RA had older than 2017 phones in that collection. It may not be so easy to get info on that IMEI# DD noted yet anther 6 to 7 years after that. Do these carriers even keep those records that long? Say a branch of T-mobile closes down, are their records already incorporated in stone somewhere from the however many years they were in business? I think in the LISK case LE may have been able to trace some of the purchases but I don't know about the data?

I can’t believe I hadn’t read this before!

The one everyone is going to want to read is Detective Harshman. He’s going to be a remarkably effective witness. He alludes to things that could very well bring our fence sitters off that fence.

He’s incredibly articulate, well reasoned, and I am now convinced that the prosecution is not overselling these confessions.

According to him they are specific, and they offer motive. Allen even volunteers to tell police everything if it gets too hard on his family.

As bad as some of these witnesses have been, this guy is going to be that good. This stuff is in fact going to change everything. I’m convinced of it.

He was an excellent witness at the hearings. He's listened to and read them all. His hearings testimony does bowl you over and it was just a taste of the whole of it. MO

May there be justice for Abby and Libby.

That is all.

I’d never heard of him before. I’ve read a lot of depositions, but that one really did blow me away.

He had a logical answer for everything, had considered the concerns that the defense would ultimately have, and did his due diligence in regards to following up and developing an understanding of certain things that could have prompted these confessions (family, his prison treatment, signs of mental issues, reading the Bible, etc).

I also understand why his family is sticking by him (they’re quite religious it seems). Reading that, I have little doubt that if his wife did tell him to confess, he would have pleaded guilty and given it all up.

His primary concern is losing his family, and he wouldn’t do that if he thought that would happen as a result.

Yes, some of these confessions are going to be off the walls garbage. But I’m totally confident that the real ones will be readily apparent.

And powerful.

Got it thank you

Q And did you then follow up with any of those statements by going, let’s
say, to CVS or to contacting a family member of his to further the investigation?
A Some things, yes.
Q Okay. And what do you recall doing?
A One of the statements, we went to CVS to – he had made a statement that
he used a box cutter and that he had threw the box cutter in the dumpster at
CVS, so we followed up on that and make sure – to see if the – if CVS issued box
cutters –
Q Okay.”

How common would a black ford focus be in Carrol county - anyone know? 2016 model.

The same make or model Richard Allen drove and owned.

AAQ - Asking A Question.

Probably not all that common for a 2016 model specifically. Google says they sold about 170k of them that year, in 10 different colors.

Out of those, one would assume black models would be the second most popular, as I just learned black is second to white in most popular car color.

Google says there are 100 million passenger cars on the road.

If out of that 100 million say 50k 2016 Focuses are black, that means that there's a 1-20,000 chance of any car being a black 2016 Focus.

The population of Carrol county is around that number (that was the last thing I looked up which is kind of funny), so that would mean there should mathematically be only 1.

Of course it doesn't work like that, and I am not good at math, but the answer would likely be "very, very, few."

@statt#1 ???

In the last TMS episode, Day 8 of trial, they talked about some observations they made, things they saw occur in the courtroom, like RA glaring at people in the gallery. They also noticed some interactions between the defendant and his family...interesting observations. MO

There was a little bit more to that answer Holeman gave. @MassGuy posted...
Here’s one. Third holeman interview page 15.

I would respectfully say they had a suspect three days after the girls went missing, just because LE messed up doesn’t mean they didn’t have the suspect, and in fact, the most likely killer self identified himself within days and LE failed to do their job, and now here we are. Imagine if they did their job correctly right away
They LE should have found RA by 2019 at the latest, when they started again with people, they had already interrogated in 2017. They knew, the suspect was someone, who had tried to involve himself into the investigation. Why didn't this realization help to find this person? Were there so many men, who had tried to involve themselves?? Would perhaps be interesting to know these men, but of course we won't ever learn of them. MOO
