2 weeksNo, I believe the witness on the stand said he was ordered 2 days later to retrieve the branches.

IMO: he snapped her neck and cut her throat at the same time. IMO, it’s why there wasn’t much of her blood there and why she didn’t grab at her neck to stop the bleeding. Apparently it can actually go missed in an autopsyAbby is a mystery. The state did not explain her death at all imo.
Here is the link:Actually from 2 of the lawyers that were at the trial and taking copious notes and other media he said what the other poster said. Basically anything they want.
@KaitlynReports
Prosecuting attorney Nicholas McLeland began by saying Feb. 13th is "a day this community will never forget."
“A day Abigail Williams and Liberty German were killed by Richard Allen."
McLeland talked about how "this type of thing doesn't happen in this small community."
He also discussed the search efforts on the afternoon and evening of February 13, before the jury was shown photos of the crime scene.
Jurors were shown photos of the girls dead bodies, and they also say the photo of Libby German's cell phone covered in water and dirt.
McLeland talked about cartridge found at the crime scene.
Much of the prosecution's closing arguments focused on the video Libby captured at 2:13 p.m.
The video, McLeland said, "the moment Abigail and Liberty were kidnapped."
He also told the jurors "something told Liberty to record this."

No indication she had a broken neck.IMO: he snapped her neck and cut her throat at the same time. IMO, it’s why there wasn’t much of her blood there and why she didn’t grab at her neck to stop the bleeding. Apparently it can actually go missed in an autopsy
That's why I wtote:Did we have testimony to support that Abby had been crying? I know the testimony suggested Libby may have had a tear on her face. I didn’t hear anything much about Abby aside her hands were clean - does anyone happen to know? Thanks in advance.
That’s why I said IMO, also bc apparently they can go missed on an autopsy, and the ME really didn’t say whether there was no indication of it-didn’t say one way or anotherNo indication she had a broken neck.
Fair enough. That’s why I said IMO, also bc apparently they can go missed on an autopsy, and the ME really didn’t say whether there was no indication of it-didn’t say one way or another
No, M00 is the witness said 2 days.2 weeks
I thought I heard 2 weeks.No, M00 is the witness said 2 days.
clean hands. In some of Libby’s clothes. Where were her clothes (I know never found). What the h*ll happened to these kids!! The state didn’t clear it up for me. They made it all more confusing imo.
“Datzman denied it was a mistake not to take the sticks into evidence but conceded that he returned on March 3 — over two weeks later — to collect the same items at the crime scene on the orders of a higher-up at ISP. He used photos taken the day of Feb. 14 to ensure he collected the same sticks.”No, I believe the witness on the stand said he was ordered 2 days later to retrieve the branches.
Yes the mental shock alone could’ve prevented a scream but remember he had a gun and may have told the girls something to the effect, “don’t even think about making a sound or I’ll blow your head off!”, (ugh sorry for the graphic, I hate thinking about and typing that), which imo the girls would have complied if that were the case.A jugular injury alone would not prevent a scream. An external jugular injury would take some time to be lethal. An internal jugular injury could cause fairly rapid exsanguination, but there would still be time to scream. Unfortunately, a major injury can often lead to a mental shock where the primal instinct to scream is not activated. A tracheal injury, especially if associated with bleeding into the trachea could make a victim unable to scream.
That’s what I thought I remembered. Thanks for finding that. I was too lazy to look it up.“Datzman denied it was a mistake not to take the sticks into evidence but conceded that he returned on March 3 — over two weeks later — to collect the same items at the crime scene on the orders of a higher-up at ISP. Crime scene investigators challenged over sticks, unspent round evidence
Lead attorney Andrew Baldwin flatly asserted it was a mistake not to immediately take into evidence the sticks that were strewn across the girls' bodies.www.indystar.com
They were left a few weeks according to that link. And worse, it was Dan Dulin who suggested they go back for them.
“Dulin testified to calling the investigation center and asking them to go back to the scene to collect the sticks.”

Agree.Nope
It was a haphazard attempt to cover the bodies of Abby and Libby, who was naked, to avoid them being discovered quickly and to give him time to get out of there.
JMO
It’s important, IMHO, to remember everyone is furiously scribbling notes, and some accounts may differ by a word or two…No he didn’t - this link transcribed it as follows: “Richard: "If this is too much, call the investigators and I'll tell them whatever they want."

Prosecution rests after Delphi murders suspect's confession calls to wife played in court
"If I get the electric chair or the death penalty, will you be there for me? I killed Abby and Libby," the double-murder suspect told his wife over a taped phone call. Prosecutors rested their case Thursday.abc11.com

Probably another Fantasy theory to go spread on the internet and SMI'm behind so forgive me if this has been mentioned previously. It's probably nothing but... one of the defense lawyers handed a YT-er a yellow post-it note followed by a smile.
