It depends on how the 2 sides use the evidence to fit the narrative doesn't it?
How are you expecting the defence would summarize that evidence?
They will maybe say she looked calm and normal because she had no worries -- If she had done anything as ghastly as charged, she wouldn't be so calm and unbothered.

And maybe she felt unwell and didn't want to worry her kids so she acted like she was OK.

But I am not sure that is totally believable because she supposedly ate the same amount of Beef Wellington as Gail, who was currently in serious condition, weak and in the hospital.

We don't know that the food was for her.
It’s a lot of eating for her son if it was all for him, though. Dim sums and something else on the way and two different sandwiches and sour confectionary on the way back.

Sure, teens are hungry but he’d be eating less frequently at school and if she was genuinely feeling unwell you’d think she’d just tell him to wait until he was home. If I was on the verge of vomiting a servo sandwich wouldn’t be something I wanted to engage with.

Yeah agree. It isn't a complex equation to assume she at least ate some of the food.

I wonder whether we will hear who ate the sandwich and wrap. A teen at that age might devour both.
Erin may have been hungry after all of her diarrhoea? 😫

Erin can be seen entering the BP about 3.19pm and walking towards the toilet.
She exits the toilet about 9 seconds after entering.
She can then be seen looking at the sandwiches in the fridge section, before walking over to another area of the service station, which is out of view.
She makes her purchase before leaving about 3.22pm.
In the footage, Erin is wearing a grey sweater, cream pants, black sandals and a black crossover bag.

She wore CREAM PANTS? ----Not the pants I'd choose if I felt 'unwell' from food poisoning.
If you asked me what would be the absolute last thing I'd wear out and about if I had food poisoning and was worried about things exiting my body without my blessing, cream pants would be #2 on my list, right after white pants.

To play devil's advocate, ss far as what you can and will do for your kids while you're unwell, us mums can be pretty strong. Whilst she may have had some imodium in her system she may have felt well enough to make the trip to the flying lesson for her son. I was once unwell, but needed to take my son to work about 15 minutes away. I literally vomited the minute before I left the house, took a bucket with me and drove very carefully. The things we do for our kids.

Ninety minutes is a long drive to make if you're experiencing diarrhoea though.

The other thing that I still don't understand about Sunday afternoon----EP is taking her son to his lesson 90 minutes away.

Her lunch guests have been in the hospital, getting worse by the hour, and doctors are honing in on serious food poisoning already.

At this point, while EP is buying sandwiches and candy, has anyone called or texted her, to see if she and the kids are OK? Wasn't Simon concerned that his kids might eat some thing toxic?

Later this same day, EP is going to serve the leftovers to the kids. So even by dinnertime, no one has called to check on them or warn them of danger?

It kind of boggles my mind. I don't think Simon was that worried about his ex, but surely he'd want to make sure his kids didn't end up as sick as his parents. How long did it take for him to call and warn them?

NOR investigating possible murders of relatives with deadly mushrooms
I feel so sorry for Ian Wilkinson. He just looks devastated every time he walks into the court. 😔

I’m looking forward to hearing if anything was recovered from the electronics.

Diarrhea and vomiting can cause a huge loss of water and minerals the body needs, named

electrolytes, in a short time.

Vomiting with diarrhea causes the loss of even more fluids and minerals

So if anything, she should be thirsty, drinking quite a bit of water and lemonade, having iceblocks, etc. If she were sick

The last thing you would be thinking about is food; your tummy would also be sore, and you would most likely vomit as its hard to keep any food down

It would have been even longer away from home if the flying lesson had occurred.

Even if she was just holding it together and only buying food (twice) for her ravenous son, if EP was unwell, wouldn’t you just go home and collapse on the couch? Instead of what she does, which is to prepare more food (the supposed leftovers). Her children were old enough to make a cheese toastie or whatever while she rested.

Do you think she gave them 'leftovers' to show that her lunch food was okay, or just because she didn't want to waste the meat?

Maybe the sight of a servo ham, cheese and tomato sandwich was impossible to resist? Stale-looking white bread, plastic cheese and flabby ham curling enticingly between the bread slices.

I think to show that the lunch food was ok.

One and half beef wellingtons were thrown out, if the poisoning was unintentional and she was worried about wastage surely you’d keep the untouched Wellington (Simon’s) for her ravenous son to have reheated. He doesn’t seem fussy about what he eats. Or at least feed it to the dog

Good point, and I don't know about other women, but I NEVER take my whole bag into a shop or service station. I take my purse only. Or my phone, to pay.
She had her cross body bag on when entering the bathroom and shop.
I'm a woman of similar vintage to Erin and can't think of a time when I would take my whole bag into a service station when I had my car out the front. I'd just take my keys and purse, keys and phone or keys, purse and phone at the most. She even had her son in the car with her, so no need to take all her valuables like you may do if you're really worried about someone stealing them in the 31.5 seconds you're inside.

The best scenario I can think of if you're pre-menopausal, is that it may be your time of the month. You may not want to sneak a tampon on pad into your pocket, especially in front of your teenaged son, so may choose the whole bag instead. However, this would require slightly more than 9 seconds in the toilet, and unless you had a massive flow, I'd imagine you would change before you left home and not need to do so again that early on in your trip. Or perhaps if you're diabetic or something and you really need a shot of insulin, you may want to de discreet and carry it in your bag to the toilet.

However these scenarios don't apply because it was 9 seconds. You can't do much in 9 seconds, except maybe dispose of something out of sight. Every service station I've been to had bins at the pumps, and often bins in front of the store or inside the shop. A sanitary bin would be a better answer than a regular bin if A) you're trying to ensure nobody saw you dispose of the item, B) it's an item that would draw attention to you by throwing it out C) You don't want anyone to see that particular item in the bin, if it was something odd and perhaps valuable D) you're hoping the chemicals inside the bin will damage the item you threw away.

All MOO.

That's making me feel unwell, hearing that 🤢

We're back from the break

By Judd Boaz

The jury is heading back into courtroom 4 and the testimony of Shamen Fox-Henry will continue.

It's likely to take up the rest of the day.

If it were thrown into a sanitary bin, the specialized hygiene company would replace the liner and therefore would find it, and they would clean and sanitize the bin.

I can't see her getting rid of anything in there. I think she would be so nervous after what has happened, now the police are investigating, to take a risk if something gets found and connects to her
The hygiene company employee might well realise that something heavier than usual had been placed in the bin, but would you go through all the contents of the bag to find it? I certainly wouldn't.

Artefacts, files and folders

By Kristian Silva

We are back after lunch and we continue on with Mr Fox-Henry’s presentation.

The prosecution briefly recaps the term artefacts, which are items of data that have been tagged by investigators, and then analysed by software.

Mr Fox-Henry establishes that details such as when an artefact was created, where it is located on a computer and when it was last accessed can be discovered.

A new slide is up, "Files & Folders".

"A folder holds one or more files, and a folder can be empty until it is filled," the text says.

There is also a diagram on the screen showing icons of files and an icon of a folder, for those who aren’t familiar.

I think it was always part of the plan.
