I think Simon and his relatives are about to get under kick in the guts so to speak if they try to get what they deserve as victims of crimes because Evil Erin's lawyers have first grab on getting the money from the sale of her house.
So if I read the article below correctly, no matter how much they demonstrate to the judge next week how badly Evil Erin's crimes have affected them, there probably won't be much money left after the lawyers have taken their huge whack out of the home's sale.
That to me is a disgraceful situation.

Though the victims of crime fund is a Victorian government fund meant to help certain victims. It is a whole separate thing from Erin's assets.
It is funded by a levy on criminal penalties (fines and court imposed penalties) which is collected by the courts. It is essentially a big pool of money collected from many people who have to pay a levy that is included in their fines.
