I don't really care what "label" people may want to give Ms Erin or what diagnoses she may or may not have. Doesn't matter- she clearly knew what she was doing. If she had a significant Mental Health history that would have been bought up in trial IMO

At the end of the day she is just a garbage human. Evil. Cruel. Disgusting. Manipulative.

She has murdered 3 people & attempted to murder another & allegedly attempted to murder her husband multiple times. She has changed the lives of her children forever. Taken away their grandparents

God knows what other harm she has done to other people over the years.

She is where she should be, hopefully for the rest of her natural life.

I feel sorry for anyone who has ever crossed her path...............

Dr Webster got it right :)

Devious, but you're probably giving her too much credit to have done that. She planned to poison Simon. She'd tried 5 other times.
I’m with you that she planned to poison Simon as well. I think she just expected to get away with poisoning her in-laws, plus Ian and Heather. Just as she got away with her alleged attempts to poison Simon numerous times. I have no doubt at all that he would have killed him later on, hadn’t she been locked up.

IMO

In her workplace?! Tampering with other people's food in high school might not be so bad, as the perpetrator might "grow out of it", but the workplace??!!! Almost unbelievable!!
Her mother and grandmothers' inheritances helped to keep her out of the workplace - I don't suppose that was the intention?

Yes and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she did make some of her inmates sick.

It would be interesting to know what she got up to as a child. If her mother really was an alcoholic, is it any wonder? 😐

We only have the murderers word for that & I don't take her words as truth ;)

Her mother held down a good job for years apparently, which is more than can be said for Erin.

OK, here is an article about poisoners, I hope it could be of interest. And I downloaded a book on homicidal poisoners. If I find something interesting in that book, I can share. But the article could be of a certain merit, too.

Wasn't the half portion collected from the bin leftovers from Erin's bw? Didn't the half portion of leftovers test positive for dc toxins? Is this right or not?

There were 6 beef wellingtons made

At the lunch on Saturday...
1. Ian ate all of his
2. Heather ate all of hers
3. Gail ate half of hers
4. Don ate all of his and half of Gail's
5. Erin at half of hers
6. A complete beef wellington was leftover

Collected by a police officer on Monday...
5. and 6. were in the bin minus the beef fillet

Test lab results from Sept '23
5. meat and mushroom paste tested positive for death cap toxins
6. had no positive results for death cap toxins that we know of

"Mr Wilkinson said the group said grace and tucked into their meals. He and his wife ate their entire servings, while Don ate his meal and half of his wife's."

Could there possibly have been extra beef wellingtons prepared as a test batch, maybe 2 more?
There were definitely enough ingredients, ie pastry, mushrooms.

That would leave a twin pack of steak for the kids to eat for dinner Sun night (without the mushrooms scraped off).

I think that it is safe to say that "in her world, her mother was an alcoholic." The reality might be very different, but this is how she viewed the situation.

It’s giving projection.

Wasn’t Erin the one who got a DUI, or am I mistaken?

I forgot about the DUI.

A DUI usually would indicate a severe problem. It is interesting to know about EP's history of alcohol abuse.

Dr Webster was right to call the police, yes.

Where he went wrong was his concerningly vainglorious media fiasco and opportunistic thirst for fame across social media.

He acted completely unprofessional, failed to uphold AHPRA regulations, breached the privacy act and effectively dismantled his credibility as a Dr.

Do you have a link for your screen shots? A primary source for those??

Dr. Webster is actually a hero, and we can credit his quick thinking, and the way he worked with other medical professionals, with the fact that one poisoned lunch guests - Ian Wilkinson miraculously survived, against all odds.

IMHO: All of those Doctors are heroes and they would not have had to even deal with those patients if Erin Patterson hadn’t cruelly poisoned them, with the intention of killing them.

IMO

I can’t see it - is it a USB stick shape do you think @Tortoise ?
Do you see it in the above attachment screenshot, in her right hand? Click on the picture and increase the size maybe.

It might appear to be part of her bag at first but it's not because it's in her hand as she swings her arm in the video.
