That's why I said "If DM's family happened to ask, they could've told them they were visiting their maternal grandparents."I
because another adult lived on the property and may have asked where they were is my opinion

Yeah but it sounds like they didn’t and she would have known that and then when the kids went missing that would have been an obvious lie for everyoneThat's why I said "If DM's family happened to ask, they could've told them they were visiting their maternal grandparents."

She spoke in her initial interview (only public interview) that she heard them playing that morning.Daniel again:
“The sun was already up and Lily came into the (bedroom),” said Martell.
“She had a pink shirt on. We could hear Jackie in the kitchen. A few minutes later we didn’t hear them so I went out to check. The sliding door was closed. Their boots were gone.”

Wow!! I have never heard this before!!I also find it very curious that LE have not mentioned that a piece of Lily's blanket was found or that the family led them to it / found them. I cannot find the link right now but this was a recording of one of the helicopter pilots during the search that states over the radio that family led them to the area where the piece of blanket was found (alongside the bootprint), I believe 1.2kms away from the house and then DM later confirms that it was a piece of Lily's blanket.
This has not been mentioned by LE once to my knowledge.
So family (not searchers or LE) happens to stumble upon a piece of Lily's blanket 1.2km from the house......
I know the radio recording I heard was on a CBC video, I will just have to find which one. I think its this one but im not able to re-listen to it right nowWow!! I have never heard this before!!

Thanks you might be right. I think maybe I remember it as being a helicopter pilot as a helicopter was shown in the video while they were playing the recording. I must have just assumed it was the helicopter pilot rather than an on ground searcherI think this might be the quote:
“On the first day of the search, emergency responders speaking over a non-encrypted radio channel mention a canine unit being dispatched to a blanket.
‘Families (I think this should read ‘Family’s’,) brought us to a location there not far away that there's a piece of a blanket which the mother says she believes belongs to her daughter, just off the road here’ an official said over the radio.
Martell confirmed it was a piece of Lilly's blanket.
There is more evidence than what the public knows, but I can't elaborate on any of that, said Martell.
He did say it was found on Lansdowne Road near the location of a child-sized boot print that was discovered around the same time by searchers in the area of a pipeline trail, just over a kilometre from the children's home.”

Polygraphs, a blanket and a bootprint: New details of investigation into missing N.S. children revealed | RCI
Nearly a dozen RCMP units are trying to piece together what happened to Lilly and Jack Sullivan.ici.radio-canada.ca
I remember hearing of another boot print by the road of the property, but it was early on and not officially confirmed the way the one on the pipeline trail was. The SAR leader Amy Hansen said that the only possible clues found was a boot print (or prints) found by the pipeline. And they don’t 100% know if either of the children made them.
I'm not sure I understand, why do you find it a little weird they happened to be in town?I'm a little behind, but I just watched the interview of bio dad mother. I find it a little weird they happen to be in town. Just my opinion.

You too dear AddyFinch.Happy Canada Day to all Canadians !!
The bio dad and his mother were in town when the kids went missing.I'm not sure I understand, why do you find it a little weird they happened to be in town?
I think LE knows that answer as he showed up on a security camera somewhere.I wonder if D ran into someone while he and the kids were in town getting groceries, and if he did speak to anyone, if that person has been questioned, if only as a witness.
