Any thougts re the newly arrested Admiral Rock person for kidnapping Kidnapping Charges Admiral Rock man related to this case? Any similarities?
I said in a post above it offers a new perspective.
Similarities I see is targeting two kids playing in a yard / garden .only one grabbed though

Sometimes when a case like this is in the media you get copycat maniacs

. Are you any good at maps to see what the distance is between the three points : so Garioch Road, lansdown Station Road, and admiral rock

Maybe this predator was looking for kids to target and spotted lilly and jack on 1st of May followed their parents car and waited for an opportunity. Then emboldened by seemingly getting away with taking two kids , targets others and kidnapped this other child

Just rechecked msm to see if the location was named of where the last sighting was of the kids in public and it does not say . Some news sites say : kids were last observed with family in public near lansdown Road. But this is where they live . I thought they were away from the house on the 1st of May. Maybe I'm getting mixed up

Yesterday, at approximately 3:20 p.m., RCMP officers responded to a report of abduction on Mosher Rd. Officers learned that two children were riding their bicycles when a man standing at the end of a driveway flagged them down. The man, whom the children did not know, grabbed one of them by the arm, entered the nearby residence with the child, exposed himself, and uttered threats.

The child screamed and ran out of the home to get help. The two children were not physically injured.

RCMP officers attended the residence where the incident occurred and arrested a 34-year-old man from Admiral Rock.

MOO IMO

I don’t see any similarities, this seemed to happen at the perps place of residence, assuming it’s his property/home.

I don't know if these articles have been posted before just thought it would be good to have a reference later in thread as not every poster will go back and re read previous posts The second article above I think states Maleyha left with her family the evening of the first day as DMs mum threw her family off the land as they were accusing DM . I don't know if DM and Maleyha were still in contact although living separately up until the meeting update which is when DM states he didn't hear/ see from her after that .

Was it raining on 2nd of May screenshot taken from second article above . Just wondering why DM states the children would return inside if it was wet and cold .

My understanding is that it rained there for about an hour, starting around 2:30 pm that day (Friday, May 2).
My first concern upon hearing this, was how this would affect tracking dogs' ability to find and follow a scent.
The search had already begun, thankfully, but the timing and extent of the rain couldn't have helped matters.
Sorry, can't find where I read it to link. Maybe someone else could confirm the weather that day?

To clarify, the children were last seen according to DM in public on May 1 in the community of New Glasgow. That’d about half hour away.

The mobile home is located just off of Garioch Road. Lansdowne Station is a small village closeest to where they live so it’s commonly referred to as their location. Admiral Rock is a community about an hour away, totally opposite to the direction of New Glasgow. There is no obvious connection to location that I can notice.

A pervert who drags a child into the confines of his own home isn’t necessarily the sort to go driving about the country side.

So most likely a copycat type .

I don’t recall the location of tracking dogs but on the Friday I’d think the search to rescue would’ve began asap rather than waiting for dogs. Possibly by the time dogs arrived too many different scents might’ve been out there. Searchers couldn’t know their efforts in their first few days would be unsuccessful.

I found this, it did rain the next day.

A crew of about 75 first resumed the search in rainy conditions on Saturday, alongside three drones and seven drone operators. Heavy winds and an incoming geomagnetic storm kept drones on the ground on Sunday, Hansen said.

I haven’t followed this case enough to understand what’s going on. Please tell me, have there been searches in the areas where the family was last seen in public together or along that route, or in other areas besides the forested trail area near their home?

Only thing I could find relating to weather was this picture taken on the Sunday 4th of May of the search team . It looks like it was possible it was rain8ng for a couple of days previous

When I looked up forecast I couldn't find weather for the 2nd

A abduction by sexual predator has never been connected to the disappearance of Jack and Lilly. Not even an abduction for any other reason at this point in time.
Doesn't mean we shouldn't keep an open mind seen as kids have not been found yet .

My opinion at the moment is nothing is off the table in regards what may have happened to the kids . I vary between thinking they are in the yard stuck after getting into a crawl space but dead to a stranger abduction to a family member harming them or abducting them to them wandering off by themselves and getting lost or a hansel and gretel situation

The only thing I think logically that can be ruled out is an animal dragging off two kids .

This doesn't seem right. Pictou County is another hour or so northeast of Truro. It's not near Shubenacadie nor between Sh. and Truro as I understand it.
Maps don't tend to lie but if you can help verify whether or not this map is an accurate representation or not. I would be very grateful please. Maps are not my forte 😅

I haven't seen in msm if property was searched or if forensics went into homes on property but I would like to think they have .surely that should be ground zero

Here's the website I used: Maps - Town of Pictou . You can zoom out in order to see New Glasgow, the town near Lansdowne Station, and then Truro to the southwest, with Canada Route 104 more-or-less connecting them.

Ah, and zooming in tightly about halfway between Pictou and Truro shows Gairloch Lake and Gairloch Road. The map gives these coordinates for anyone who prefers to look in that manner: 45°40'45.5"N 62°43'13.8"W. Lansdowne Station shows as being just off of Highway 289. I've attached a screenshot of my zoom from the webpage linked above:
