I can't recall what case it was but some years ago I read a LE statement about the public assuming a case had gone cold (because LE wasn't updating the public at all) and he said something along the lines of "unless we announce the case has gone cold, it hasn't". It was pretty blunt like that & changed the way I thought about how investigations go.That’s right, we really know nothing. Two and half months have gone by and situations are never frozen in time. Who Meadow is with, where is MBM or even if the RCMP has made any investigative progress? It does feel like a cold case.
In this case, I don't think it's gone cold at all, I think they're still combing through all data, video and every interview. In other words, just doing their job.
