I meant from the timeline given by janie as circa 20mins of her hearing the children ,Daniel calling thir names and the around 10 am arrival of RCMP which give a timeline of about 9.00am to 9.50 am when call was made if RCMP arrived at about 10am . This is three quarters of an hour . All I was saying was and I'm not implying it wasn't the right thing to do . Bloody sure it was I just thought it was a short time spent looking and calling by parents before they called

According to Malehya it was the right time, something about her instinct iirc.

The mobile home in front of the RV where the step-gran was living, in other words the RV is behind which is why at the beginning the RV wasn’t visible in the media pics. The area nearby her RV where she identified she was raking is nowhere near the door of the mobile home. It would be much further to carry bags, not closer. Infact there’s gravel all around each side of her RV.

There’s an illustrative overhead view on the video here -
It is possible that Daniel bought groceries for his mother too, like a large bag of dog food. They may have dropped her groceries off first, the kids got out, and then they moved the car.

You can check the Wikipedia discussion on that very topic, it's linked at the top of the L and J Wiki-page. No nefarious or shady reasons that I could see, or reasons that shed light on the case. MOO
Thanks didn't know how to check that when I pressed on the warning it just gave generic reasons and rules etc

Plus it showed us that her dog wasn’t responsible for eating the children.

However I do emphasize with her when she talked about her reluctance to go out, even to be visible in her yard. She feels she’s become a subject of the public’s morbid curiosity and she has a right to her own emotions, so I understand why that would frustrate and irritate her. Best thing for her would be to move away but that’s her home and she doesn’t appear very well off financially.

This just made me spit out my tea laughing. The dog 🤣🤣

100% I can be emphatic towards her situation she has found herself in the midst of. I would probably sit in my garden and say in no particular niceties. Go a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 head nose all you like

Do posters think enough time has past to possibly think about sending in cadaver dogs . [IF ]the hypothesis by LE is that they wandered into the dense forest and got lost

I don’t understand why they haven’t been used

Curious bit from the article linked:

"A member of Brooks-Murray's extended family is also critical of how the RCMP investigation has played out. Darin Geddes, a cousin of Brooks-Murray's grandmother, said he had been speaking with many members of both families in the weeks following the disappearance and believed he had information that could be pertinent to the investigation, but was brushed off by the Mounties.
"It's not hurt. It's rage. And I'm trying to control it," Geddes said in a recent interview, adding he did eventually track down an officer to take his statement."

LE don't normally "brush off" someone with pertinent info on a missing persons case, so of course now I want to know what information he thought he had that was so important. And why RCMP didn't think it was important enough to listen to him, initially?

Two missing children might be alive and for some reason the CBC isn’t quoting Geddes substantially or at length. My impression is that is because they couldn’t verify what he has said or cannot rely on him as a witness, and the RCMP may see it the same way, imo.

So when they arrived home from grocery shopping, they would have pulled the car as close to the house as possible to not have to carry bags as far. Then when they went to move the car further out of the driveway, the kids could have run in front of the vehicle.
Do we have confirmation that they were grocery shopping? I know per the RCMP they were in a car outside a shopping center but I don't remember hearing that they were getting groceries.

No. I think the members are just speculating that's what could have happened.

Or could have been backed over. This happens, sadly, too often.
I’m not saying I think this happened, but it’s a theory.
IMO
I've wondered that about Summer Wells, fwiw.

I hope this doesn't remain unsolved like Summer's case.

Yes and family members don't usually rage !! Anger , upset , powerlessness Yes but rage is a very strong emotion. Hmmm makes me think of others who have inserted themselves in to the narrative of a missing persons investigation ???

Becareful folks…. Darrin Geddes is outta the bag, but I bet he’s too controversial to discuss🔥 the above quote was said by him on cbc JM interview, but you better rewatch soon, cause I bet it’s removed. He also said something else very interesting but it’s gone so………

Here is the video on a different website. She starts discussing the pool around 5:30. She says the bootprint was found in the mud where she was raking that night. Who rakes in the mud?

I wasn't getting alerts for this thread so catching up.

Thanks for posting the video... She seems very matter of fact and like that type of person in general. No sugar coating, no BS, telling things like it is type of personality MOO.

I'm not up to date on ALL the details, I likely missed anything new. I hope extended family been investigated. I imagine LE has looked into any family members that may have priors/records.

I find it a little odd she got a text right around the time kids are missing, me speculating though JMO MOO

Silent? No.
Very quiet, smoothe glide and likely not a sound you'd hear in the back bedroom where mom & DM allegedly were? Yes, seems reasonable to me.

I actually went and opened & closed mine after hearing theirs in the interview. Theirs is MUCH quieter than mine for sure. Given the age of the mobile, that surprised me.
Agree. It's not silent but I found it fairly quiet. Mine is awful too!

Or would someone else have come by the house to visit during that time? A friend, family or acquaintance? Not the bus but someone known to the family? IMO

The window of time seems to be around 9am and in 20-30 mins as pointed out on the thread. Did something happen on that road no one saw? Hit and run, abduction or whatever...

It's the only mention I've ever seen of him in this interview so, it's a (likely?) safe bet none of the other MSM outlets will be carrying his comments.

Darin Geddes is saying some pretty bizarre stuff. My guess is he will either be arrested soon for obstruction of justice or he has a green light from RCMP and is trying to get a confession/the truth.

Rechecked the roads for wetness in r/t JM saying footprint was in mud. Roads in area, on the most are dry, but a few dirt roads are wet enough to have puddles. All within a day or two of May 2. Particularly photos with SARS member in it.( so post raking chore)

The RCMP will know what information is important and what can be ignored. I think they know exactly what happened and are evidence gathering, hence releasing the statement about the hours of footage to be reviewed
