Yes, for sure, except that the bush is not walkable right now. The underbrush is in full leaf which hides crevasses in the rocks, and trees are lying tangled on top of trees, damaged from the hurricane. It would be far too dangerous to send in cadaver dogs right now. Hopefully we get an open winter or an early spring which would make bush walking safer. I just returned from Truro today and saw the forest near this area. There is no way a human should be in the bush, and neither should a dog.
The dogs and their handlers thank you ❤️

"We only found two boot tracks outside of the house … about 10 feet away from the backyard."

"She told CTV News there were footprints in the driveway leading toward the road Friday."

But now it's apparently a single boot print right where Janie had been raking the night before. The RCMP have only ever mentioned one boot print being found which was off the property at the pipeline.

Another thing is that D and M have never said they heard the kids playing outside - in fact they have said the complete opposite, that they didn't hear them outside that morning. Yet J apparently did. Is that because of D and M's bedroom placement in the trailer, would they not be able to hear them outside? Or is this just another major inconsistency with stories.

It's possible. JM showed her bedroom very close to the swing set and D and M's bedroom at the far end of the trailer.

But there are inconsistencies in general, I agree.

Re the sliding door - in JM’s tour of the property and demonstration of the sliding door, I didn’t find it exceptionally quiet. It sounded like all sliding doors, imo.
Another thing about sliding glass doors, you don’t just hear them, you sort of feel them. It’s like there’s a vibration thru the walls. I would think that vibration would be even more noticeable in a mobile home, given the less sturdy construction.

I don’t personally believe those children went out the sliding door. If they had, I find it hard to believe they closed it behind them all the way.
IMO

This is exactly why I posted as DM says he heard jack in the kitchen and seen lilly then silence. And he jumped up . But janie says she heard them outside . Then fell asleep . She could hardly have fallen asleep and been asleep within 5 / 10 mins .

Now I get that prehaps their was an element of trying to sound as if it were just a case of two parents in the bedroom lying on the bed and more resting than sleeping but if we factor in that prehaps Daniel heard them inside and then janie heard them as they first ventured outside . Would there be enough time in 10 mins for the kids to get far enough to not be found by either dm or jm 🤔 . Even if we factor in 20 mins ( dm was searching culverts and drains etc ) between Daniel looking and janie hearing him shouting could the kids get far enough on foot ?

I've said before if the kids knew or felt they would get into trouble they may have hid or fled further afield but far enough that they wouldn't be found ? Between dm and jm searching and RCMP arrival

Yes I find it very strange that they closed it completely shut . I've grandkids same age well 4 and just gone 7 but whatever about closing it half or 3rd of way they definitely would not close it as an adult would .

And yes it kind of makes a whoosh or vibration. And when kids of that age close a sliding door it's a two hand push and it sort of claps/ slams or makes a bang sound off the frame . My running joke to my grandkids is " did you leave the door on its hinges

I'm laughing here to myself at us all testing our sliding doors I've even enlisted my grandkids above 🤣

Same and even though the adult closed it quieter we all know dang well that was getting slammed with a 4 and 6 year old lol even if they were trying to be sneaky

This question comes from my past experiences teaching a largely 'at risk' school population & previous work in social services and In regards to comments here about the timing of the kids disappearance coinciding with testing (autism and other related possibilities?): urine, blood, saliva, and hair samples could all reveal use of restricted/illegal drugs in the kids. Hair tests can indicate long term chronic use. If the children were chronically absent from school and often showed up with symptoms of excessive drowsiness & extreme unkemptness of hygiene & clothing, trained professionals would likely suspect neglect, abuse, & possible drugging for the convenience of the parents. I'm remembering back to my 5th grade student who was slurry & slept through the first hour or so of every day then became reasonably alert after that. It was found that his alcoholic father gave him beer every morning because he had no milk in the house for his morning cereal. Wondering what exactly worried the parents of these particular missing kids and whether they may have had a reason to be afraid to make the kids available for further contact with authorities. The neighbor reporting the parties and particularly the party the night before caught my attention and brought back too many memories of too many kids in the care of overwhelmed parents.

I know there was at least audio of Janie talking about what she did the night before, anyone have that?

Can you slam a sliding door? I think at that kind of age I would have been more likely to just leave it open despite scolding parents or push it partly closed but not quite all the way. JMO

Speaking of culverts are there maps that would show a location of these

So when they arrived home from grocery shopping, they would have pulled the car as close to the house as possible to not have to carry bags as far. Then when they went to move the car further out of the driveway, the kids could have run in front of the vehicle.

why would they bother to move the car further away from the trailer or whatever it is

I wasn't getting alerts for this thread so catching up.

Thanks for posting the video... She seems very matter of fact and like that type of person in general. No sugar coating, no BS, telling things like it is type of personality MOO.

I'm not up to date on ALL the details, I likely missed anything new. I hope extended family been investigated. I imagine LE has looked into any family members that may have priors/records.

I find it a little odd she got a text right around the time kids are missing, me speculating though JMO MOO

that made me sit up too
