It's strange that they were reported missing so early in the day, I also find it suspicious that their landlord would be that aware of their comings and goings. The picture I saw looked like they were going somewhere and not out for a casual late night/early morning walk. The sisters were last seen at 2.12 AM on Tuesday 7 January. The police incident number is 0735 on Tuesday 7 January so they were reported missing the same day - less than 24 hours.
The police incident number and date is at the bottom of this report:

Sisters vanish in Scots city as CCTV captures them near river at 2am
Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, have gone missing from their home in Aberdeen city centre.www.dailyrecord.co.uk
“We are continuing to speak to people who know Eliza and Henrietta and we urge anyone who has seen them or who has any information regarding their whereabouts to please contact 101 quoting incident number 0735 of Tuesday, 7 January, 2025.”
I am speculating that the landlord or "someone" called them to ask them a favor or saying they needed urgent help with something so the sisters put on their coats, grabbed their purses and off they went to assist someone somewhere within walking distance.
Do we know where the landlord lives in relation to the sisters?
Do we know if the landlord had any other rental or commercial properties within walking distance?
Were the sisters known to assist the landlord with or manage any rentals for them?
