Depends where you live. I rarely see it and I live in a big city.lots of people wear masks still
Sorry. I fixed it. See above post 235Link isn't working.
Sorry, I should have said not many people wear a mask in public anymore not that no one does. Maybe one in ten? So by being one of ten, you are unnecessarily calling attention to yourself especially when the country’s most wanted at the moment is a masked assassin.lots of people wear masks still
Our Congressional representatives meet regularly with constituents in their districts, and have hired great staff who manage their district offices and are incredibly responsive. I had the same experience when we lived in California with both our Senate and Congressmembers in their district offices, and if we were in Washington, D.C. and had scheduled meetings with them.I had to take a break from it a few years ago. I couldn't attend the funerals anymore. It's too depressing and things are getting worse. Most Members of Congress don't return phone calls or emails anymore. If you're lucky, you get a form letter in response. Only a handful of them are still working to make change.
He did chose to live in Hawaii so I can't imagine he was THAT hard off or why live in one of the most expensive places you can in the US? He was in Japan earlier this year based on photos and things he posted. Also his mother thought he was living in California because that is where she filed that missing person report so maybe he lived there at one point also. That is also an expensive place to live.I don’t know that it’s that black and white. We don’t know the actual finances specific to him or his parents. It’s not unreasonable to think he could be on his own financially - especially if his family wasn’t able to find him for months- that would make you suspect they didn’t give him free access to a credit card.
A lot of America is one hospital bill away from financial disaster. Even if not, getting bill after bill after bill when the expectation is that there wouldn’t be bills is extremely frustrating.
Separate from this, neck and back issues are also associated with depression. So many people with these types of issues will have lifelong pain - a poor outcome.
I’m not justifying his actions - they were very extreme. I’m just saying this is not black and white.
Yes, the mask definitely made him recognisable, doubt he would have been so easily identified without it.Sorry, I should have said not many people wear a mask in public anymore not that no one does. He is being held in PA on the PA charges. I would expect him to be extradited to NY on the NY charges within the next week or so.What about the NYC charges? Where is he now? If you know, lol.
I'm still wondering how LM knew BT would be by himself outside the hotel when he was.
To state that people here who aren't hero-worshipping a murderer is because they don't understand insurance issues is incorrect, imo. We are not required to recite our personal insurance woes in order to have a valid opinion.Yes, people here must have great insurance lol.
I don’t think anything is an “excuse” for murder, but something turned a balanced successful kid into a troubled vengeful adult. I think his issues were bigger than pain and anger at it, he seemed to genuinely find issue with the profits of health insurance companies and their role in society and chose this to make a statement. It seems bigger than his own back injury, even if this was the vehicle that drove him into this new life chapter. There are media reports that he suffers from
Spondylolisthesis

Spondylolisthesis: MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia
Spondylolisthesis is a condition in which a bone (vertebra) in the spine moves forward, out of its proper position, in relation to the bone below it.medlineplus.gov
There are some Reddit threads people/MDs giving opinions after their own surgeries. The expected worst ever, to improved. Well, I’m sure it sucks, but given medical pain, poor medical outcome as an excuse for murder? Loads of people get handed a poop sandwich every day and have less resources than he to cope (with disability. )
How difficult would it be, though. He knew the conference stated at 8am and I think it was mentioned that he left the hostel just after 5 and that was directly across the road or very nearby. BT had to walk past him at some point.Agreed, so do I !
Hmmm.
Regardless of how meticulously LM planned this -- he needed to know when Brian would be by himself and not just guess at it ?
Omo.
The bags under his eyes
I'm thinking now that this wasn't anything to do with his injury. It was clearly not affecting him at all and hadn't been for some time. I don't think he started reading books from notable radicals and murdering criminals and posting about them only in the past few months, either.I don’t think anything is an “excuse” for murder, but something turned a balanced successful kid into a troubled vengeful adult. wow, if that didnt come from Brian Entin I wouldnt believe its him, doesnt even look like the same person, he looks majorly sleep deprivedLuigi Mangione inside Altoona, PA McDonalds eating what appears to be a hash brown before arrest
I think that the killing of a law enforcement officer and a few other categories is "aggravated murder" under New York state law. I was looking at this last night to try to determine why he is being charged with second-degree murder. Maybe there is a verified attorney on this thread who can weigh in on this.My understanding: In New York State first degree murder charge is reserved for killing of a law enforcement officer.
If this is in fact his manifesto, the story about his mother is indeed moving. Do you know where this podcaster got the manifesto? Is it online anywhere?Hidden True Crime did an incredible analysis on this case thus far.
