I'm not sure I agree with Judge H regarding the broadcasting of LE faces if they are undercover officers. He said if they weren't converting this case, but would he really be willing to blow apart active cases and possibly endanger the individual concerned in order to fulfil the publics right to know?

I think I read recently that Nick Ballance (i think that's his name) is currently undercover and his face was kept hidden during recent testimoney.

I agree, and also heard or read the same thing about Ballance being undercover. I’ll see if I can find it.

Actually, I remember that it was a news report that showed his face. I didn’t read details because I was so appalled they were outing him. I hope it was some AI hallucination.

Well, yes. He thought that he'd be let go after he asked if anyone else had been arrested. Asking the police officer to coffee after the gross mistake of his arrest was reversed was a total and classic "pick me" move.

However, the prosecution knows exactly when the Door Dash delivery occurred, so we can believe Dylan IMO.

Also in IMO, Kaylee would easily see the DD driver only if the driver parked out front (she has a north/front-facing window in her bedroom).

If, instead, the DD driver parked on the side road next to the back patio, as many speculate here, I don’t think Kaylee would have seen the driver
walk across the patio underneath her.

Finally, by “they” do you mean Dateline? In that case, they said Xana went up the stairs to check out the commotion, then BK chased her back down the stairs to her room.

Yeah that's what dateline said, but the timing doesn't square up. Because apparently DM was insistent that she heard that around 4:00 a.m., and we know the door dash got there at 3:59 a.m., and Bryan did not get in there until after 4:07 a.m., and maybe he got inside the house a couple minutes after that, so like 4.09, 4:10. Plus we know xana was online till 4:12. So if Xana said that, she probably said that after 4:12. So there's a big difference between 359 and 412.

Kaylee's room was right above the slider. True there was a porch there, so she could not see directly down. So she might not have seen it, but her dog might have barked and maybe she heard the door Dasher knocking on the slider.

My personal opinion is they had a ring camera on the front and back door and this was all caught on camera. They were all afraid of getting stalked so it makes sense they had cameras. If it was not on camera, then the internet was down just like the rumor says. Just because we don't see pictures of the cameras now, does not mean the police didn't take them down right away and we did not get pictures of them. So I think it's likely Kaylee saw it on her ring cam. But that's just my guess.

If he’s newly diagnosed with something that can be treated pharmaceutically, he may be receiving a new medication to treat his condition. I imagine psychotropic drugs take getting used to, or require time to find the optimum dose. And some have weird side effects.

Or he could be acting.

So, did I hear correctly that the house model is not to scale? The house model is a general representation of the house layout. IMO, I suppose a general rep. is better than nothing to help visualize the house and rooms.

My assumption is that it is to scale, but not to millimetre scale, or perhaps not to standard scale. The defence probably objected to using the model based on precise accuracy - my guess - so the Judge is adding that minor detail.

Interesting. BK wrote during at least one of the hearings I watched. I was surprised he wrote with his right hand. I thought I saw him write with his left hand before that, but I could definitely be wrong. Or the image was reversed. Or he’s ambidextrous.

Anyway, I wonder what, if anything, they are doing differently with him now.

Me too - I thought that when we first saw Bry Baby's Glow-down at the last hearing before the one we just watched this AM.

Ted Bundy drove his legal counsel crazy...I can only imagine how BK is with his team. Perhaps the drugging was at the instance of AT to keep him as uninvolved as possible in court; you know, discovering the same joys as some parents that administer Benadryl to their unruly children before goring to the grocery store or on a massive road trip. I used to work for an attorney that always said, in jest "better living through better drugs."

BK is likely a model guest at jail.

Segregated for everyone's comfort.

Doesn't have to deal with annoying students, annoying colleagues, annoying instructors, annoying traffic cops, annoying crosswalks, annoying women...

I'm not even sure what they'd medicate him for. ADHD? Maybe. Cognitive behavior therapy? Can you even imagine him overtalking a therapist? He's just pedantic enough and just self-unaware enough to decide he's on the doctor side of the table.

Doubt he's getting any therapy or much by way of medication, unless he was prescribed something before the murders.

IMO he didn't have a life plan beyond his PhD. Well, not a legitimate one.

He wanted to BE the criminal mind future criminology students study.

Sadly they will. But not as the legend he thinks he is.

He left his DNA at the crime scene and a digital trail that absolutely convicts him.
