Your curiosity is valid. I’ve noticed the same thing.

I wonder is AB subtly insinuating RA isn’t being properly represented or is it just the fact she’s only an observer posing questions already resolved by the D in discovery or their background work. Otherwise it’s a valid question, why isn’t the D filing motions or objections to what she expresses should be their concerns? She can’t possibly take over their job by sitting in the gallery. MOO
I’m not referring to anyone specific but to me, some of the things being said are only brought up to get a reaction. I’d liken it to reality TV where show runners are directing the wannabe actors off camera creating a sort of false narrative for lack of better words. Difficult for me to find the right words so my apologies. Over emphasizing how a counselor objects to a question.

Who am I to criticize though? Some people like that & enjoy the ride. Me? I’m fine following along & ignoring the static as best I can & patiently awaiting the outcome. If a guilty verdict comes, then I expect the noise to increase to an uproar & even more conspiracy theories start flying. If not guilty, an equal uproar will occur with likely finger pointing. Not trying to insinuate stereotypes, just my expectations. We shall see.

All JMO & not intended to offend at all.

100%, I thought there was a fanny pack at first but now all I can see is a billow shirt. I think, at least.

The jacket may be the type that naturally produces a bulge, and depending on how his gun was holstered, that could create a bulge on its own. So while a fanny pack is possible, I just don't see it.

Do we have an October 2022 timeline anywhere? Looking to see when RA was questioned, when house was searched and when he was arrested. TIA

Kathy posted a video on Facebook in 2016 that showed Ricky sitting in a car. She wrote:

Had a great weekend with my hubby. Went Christmas shopping at Castleton Square Mall and Von Maur store is one of my favorites especially during the holidays. They have a live pianist and I love the holiday decor and atmosphere. Ricky however about fell asleep waiting for me to finish shopping, then I ‘stalked’ him out in the parking lot waiting in our car. Had a great 25th anniversary dinner at Ruth’s Chris in Carmel. Best steak EVER!

If the conversation from that person is stymied at what a cell phone subject’s position is in a video and how does a predator cross a bridge to start an attack I can say from reading WS –quickly- and the subject always appears further away in a cell phone video.

But I am informed on the distances so its not news nor a mystery as it is being presented.

RA/BG when he saw the two girls in a good position darted across and confronted them.

Isn't it like what the National Guard RA was in do all the time for training. They scurry across objects and barriers carry and climb.

One could say that RA is trained to have BG skills so no surprises he's physically capable of the crime starting from crossing the bridge he is familiar with from he says going out on it and standing on it.

Guard Soldiers need to be in excellent condition, and fall within certain ranges of height and weight, to fulfill the physical demands of military service.

Basic Training is a 10-week course of intense physical and mental training, during which recruits develop essential Soldier skills, discipline and values
>
Guard Soldiers train alongside active duty troops. They learn the same combat skills, and use the same weapons and techniques. In other words, every Soldier is physically and mentally prepared for the challenge.

I think I’ll reserve any further judgment until I’ve seen the video for myself.

I reported how someone inside the court reported it.

I can’t comment on the speculation that others might want to attach to it.

I'd like to see people like this called. I know the defense would argue that it's a major crime in a small town and everyone was talking about it, but this is something I'd absolutely expect from the killer. He'd enjoy discussing it, and bring it up to lots of people.

Daily Beast spoke to the bar owner, Bob Matlock.

“He would come in and we would always talk about the girls and everything,” Matlock told Daily Beast. “We would carry on conversations about it. He would say, you know, ‘It’s such a tragedy,’ and we’d say we felt sorry for the families and all that, but we tried not to talk about it too much because we all knew the families.”

Over the years, in the photo of BG, it’s looked more and more to me like he had a brown sweatshirt on underneath the blue jacket with one of those kangaroo pouches that also could’ve had the gun and / or a knife in it.

I have always thought it looked like a brown hoodie with the pouch for your hands sticking out.

If this was Libby's camera, then he said, it couldn't have been him. But if it was another camera, then it could have been?? And how that?
Maybe when he actually was there 5 hours earlier and saw those other 3 girls they took his picture. Hahahahahaha. Of course that could be a defense theory of it. But again the group that saw BG was at the trail AT LEAST from 12:43pm walked the entire trail and saw BG sometime after 1:26p these are the timestamps on their photos.

I just can't imagine him moving fast across that bridge. By reports it's missing planks and isn't something you can swiftly move across, caution has to be used.
I’ve walked similar types of bridges & they are typically what I would term sketchy. They’re as dangerous as you make them. Of course the conditions vary but to visualize it some sort of common sense is needed. A perilous death trap of a bridge is not going to be the center of a bunch of trails that the public uses and just where one can walk right out in it. There would be barriers & not so publicly advertised or easy to access. Also note that BG is closer to one side than in the middle. It’s safer IMO to stay closer to the supports along the sides & most degradation occurs in the middle, if any at all. Also, the gaps between the ties aren’t as large as one might think. Your best resource is to look on YT. Plenty of videos where people are walking across it.

Delphi suspect Richard Allen arrested

Complete timeline from February 2017 to present

Oct. 28, 2022: Multiple sources told NewsNation local affiliate WXIN that a man was booked in the Carroll County, Indiana, jail in connection with the Delphi homicide investigation. The outlet reported that the man, Richard Allen, was moved to a state facility for his safety.

Oct. 31, 2022: Allen was officially arrested in connection with the killings of German and Williams.

Allen pleaded not guilty and remained at the White County Jail, where he was detained without bond, Carroll County District Attorney Nicholas McLeland said.

It marked the first time the tight-knit community of Delphi received possible answers to the case.

Nov. 1, 2022: German’s grandmother said Allen worked at CVS and had printed photos for the girls’ funerals.

Nov. 22, 2022: Allen was granted a bail hearing, and a prosecutor said in court that Allen may not be the sole suspect.

Nov. 29, 2022: Newly unsealed court records detailed how a cellphone video and an unspent bullet led officers to arrest a man they interviewed five years earlier in connection with the deaths.

A redacted version of an affidavit was released that outlined why police suspected Allen in connection with the deaths of German and Williams.

Thank you - I hadn't seen 8am mentioned anywhere so was struggling to see why only the 41 hours was mentioned.

Big week coming up. These confessions are going to be massive either way - IMO the state is going to rely heavily on these to land a conviction unless they’ve got additional evidence we haven’t had sight of yet (ie on top of what we saw in the PCA).
I’m really looking forward to this part of the testimony. Let’s see if the state gets the mileage they expect out of these “confessions.” I suspect this may be a “bombshell” but one that may blow up in the state’s face. JMHO, of course :).

@Boxer saw it first. One of the bulges is shaped like a Sig P226.

Interesting. RA would talk about the crime to others. Did he ever mention to others that he also happened to be on the trail the afternoon of the murders, and he’d provided helpful information to LE? You would think he’d be proud to share that information to his friends - given that he was being a helpful citizen, and all.

And if he talked about, was his story consistent throughout?

“It doesn’t matter. It’s over.” turned out to be not a confession of guilt.

[snip]
"4. Holeman said he asked Allen about his “concerning” comment 2 wks earlier during a search warrant when RA told him: “It doesn’t matter. It’s over.”
“He said the damage was done. We had interviewed his neighbors & coworkers & everyone thought he did it….We ruined his life.”"
