Here is another view of the chicken coop. It looks like there are two buckets, one is filled with water, but we cannot see what is in the other bucket (dog food?). Maybe the dog was put there to protect the chickens. The toys and swingset are right there by the chicken coop, so this is the area the kids would play at. If that bucket was filled with water by rain, then how come the other bucket is not full of water too?

At the same time, this is a web forum discussing crime, and in this case, missing children. We can hope for the best, while also conceding the statistics are not on the side of a happy outcome. It would be a dull conversation if we never allowed ourselves to comment beyond expressions of hope for happy endings.

I can’t speak for other web sleuths posting here, but when I comment, it’s usually after quite a lot of reading and following the facts as they are known. I make a point of expressing that it is my opinion or speculation, based on what is known. I often use the phrase “does not ring true for me”, and when this happens, I employ my critical thinking skills, to try to tease out answers, or possible reasons it doesn’t ring true.

I find these 2 comments interesting: “do you think DM and MBM don’t know what you think when you see where they live and their life circumstances?” And “you know people are giving you the cross-eye” I haven’t followed every thread on this case, but what I have followed has not reflected any judgement of their way of life. Socioeconomic factors have not spared the McCanns, nor the Ramseys, from scrutiny, or as you say, “side-eye”. I have not followed any missing/murdered children’s cases in which suspicion of the parents has not been part of the list of scenarios under consideration.
When I see the home and lifestyle of DM and MBM, I’m seeing a lifestyle I witness all the time and assign no meaning, no judgment, no side-eye.

Agree with all. I might add, when I examine it also is done from a critical thinking mind. I pose questions, which in turn helps me formulate thoughts. These questions often come out harsh, matter of fact. It keeps me focused, but it is a far cry from being judgmental. I as a Cdn know only too well the Indigenous issues of this country. I have good and bad feelings, but at the end of the day I always say.... "we have no idea what goes on in someone's life, be humble, you too came from a poor background". When it comes to crime, I have very real personal experience, and the most horrendous monsters were often first described by me as a loving kind person. I often wore egg on my face, but the fact is true, this is a crime web sleuthing community, and throwing the gauntlet down, and digging in, no matter how blunt the ideas is what its all about. Always with respectful posting. And I try to remember some posters are not as old as dirt..... some of us come from a very different generation where we knew things by different names and ways,,,,,,,
examples..... when I see the photos of that backyard/stoop, I see garbage and a mess, but then I see the swings which someone took the time to make for those kids. They were cared for. Farmers have buckets and pieces of what looks like junk, but each thing might have a purpose to them, just not the viewer. Why bother with the chickens? Because they wanted fresh eggs for the table, or some money to help with groceries????

I was under the impression that MBM and the youngest daughter was there as well, not sure anymore

DM did say a while back that it was both parents and all three kids caught on video in New Glasgow, so I'm also confused rn.

Dangerous dog back there comes to mind again. Why the back of the property where that other fenced in area for the dog is? Why is fixing the fence so important that he has to do it at night?

This was the thing that stood out for me ,why the urgency at night to fix the fence

Why has he lost custody of his daughter so quickly ?

The following is pure speculation on my behalf . If Daniel owed money to undesirables could they have tried to get on to the property by creating a breech in the fence which is why he was repairing it that night as he felt vulnerable . Or was it simply wear and tear and he was repairing it to protect the family and any domestic animals from attack by either roaming bears or foxes etc

I don't get why Maleyha left the property and him so quickly and imo immaturely change her status on fb to single surely that would be the last thing on your mind to change . I know people who have gone through acrimonious seperations / divorces whom have not changed this until months later and because they may have had it pointed out by a friend or they re entered the dating world . Seems a childish thing to do .especially in the circumstances

If she felt the kids were abducted by someone why has she left Daniel unless he has indirect involvement by association

This is paywalled but below is a snip by me. This is where the fence fixing came from but I haven’t seen anything about a dog. I think a poster was just speculating.

Seen as Maleyha only informed the school at 6.17am is it possible the children thought they were in school that morning and walked to the usual exit and upon seeing no bus ,tried to walk there.

Also if lilly and possibly jack were coughing so bad as to be kept home from school . Why did Daniel bring them to run errands , when Maleyha was home with meadow. If the kids were that sick surely they would have been of low energy and they would not have been a burden on her or too stressful to take care of while Daniel shopped for groceries

I think he’s referring to his other two children but I don’t believe they were living at his home, perhaps he’s not allowed to see them either?? I don’t know. I’ve seen pictures of his other two kids on his Facebook page

I have seen photos of two other children with DM and MBM on SM along with lilly ,Jack and meadow . AFAIK in the article you have just quoted it says he hasn't been able to see his kids including meadow. I will reread article just to ensure I have the exact wording of the sentence
