I think the info about the woman, gold car and 2 little kids would have been redacted if this was something still under investigation. The fact we know about it tells me this was a tip that lead nowhere...like so many tips do.

Hey folks,

Always remember that things that can't be discussed on the public board can be discussed with others in direct messaging groups where up to 50 members can participate in private conversation.

Thanks for your understanding.

(As 50 members instantly disappear from the public convo ;))

It is absurd to think that somebody who knew about the children would show up on a school day to abduct them. Just... no. That didn't happen.

What we know is that the children had a time frame to leave the yard. Probably about an hour. They could have went out on the street or they could have went into the woods. Either way all it would have taken is for them to meet up with some perv. The street is by far more likely. What I truly do not understand about this case is that you would think there was an abduction vehicle involved yet somehow the RCMP do not seem to be on this.

There really don't seem to be any other options.

IMO, unless somebody who knew about Lilly and Jack also knew they were off from school for 3 schooldays before the weekend making it 5 days they were at home and not in school.

Wednesday was not a school day due to inservice/training for teachers & staff.

Thursday & Friday their schoolmates were in school and Lilly and Jack were not due to illness.

I wholeheartedly agree. Nothing that’s occurred, or not occurred, has changed my mind. I believe what Malehya, Daniel and Janie said of that mornings events. I believe Lilly and Jack were stolen by either a stranger or someone vaguely known to them. Not some planned and plotted event though, just a freaky chance encounter.

As rare as it is for stranger abduction, it does happen. Look up the stats for your area/country. Here’s some stats from Missing Children Society of Canada: MCSC - Resources.

My mind keeps going back to MBM telling the RCMP that CS might have brought the kids to NB. Not because I think it happened, but because I want to know WHY she felt that was a possibility. What's in NB that relates to him or her or the kids? Does he have family here? What specific reason made that scenario pop into her brain? There has to be some background there—just curiosity on my part, I guess, as an NBer.

Malehya broke down and left Daniel after a police briefing on Saturday. My understanding of the tip about Cody, is that it was made on Friday night, while Malehya was still with Daniel. I think it's possible that he was making "suggestions" in her ear to keep a potential abduction story alive. (Which I don't mean to necessarily imply guilt. Wanting to believe they're alive is reason enough to be invested in grasping at any straw. But IF he has involvement, it could be deliberate diversion.)

The only people who knew they weren’t in school yet that day were reportedly their mother and their stepfather. Circles back to them

I think Summer Wells was taken by someone known to the family. Either directly or casually.

As for Lilly & jack it is possible they were abducted into a pedophile ring. Nothing is off the table that's for sure. I think the culprits would have needed to transport them swiftly out of the country though, within the first 24 hrs.

Maybe a crime has been committed against these two youngsters closer to home, and I don't mean their home (the trailer) but further afield in Nova Scotia. Jmo
I agree about Summer, I think it's very close to where she lived especially with the new potential break and some rumours going around about who was maybe doing work in the neighbourhood.

I could actually see Jack and Lily having a similar circumstance, I find the cases a tad similar. JMO MOO

And various school personnel. Not that I think someone from the school is involved, but this could include any number of people.

ADMIN NOTE:

This post lands at random.

All members are required to adhere to Websleuths' Victim Friendly policy. It is one of THE most fundamental principles on which this site is based.

Excerpt from The Rules: Etiquette & Information

"The "victim friendly" rule extends to family members of victims and suspects.

[...]

This does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media. Members may reasonably discuss what is said in MSM by them or about them, but do not make random accusations, insinuations, suggest their involvement, trash, bash or attack them, or speculate negatively about them."

It is quite possible a lot of people knew lilly and jack weren't in school that morning.

I'm surmising a parent walks a child to the bus and apparently because of behavioural issues lilly and jack sat up front and I'm speculating those front seats are viewable from an open bus door as you help your child alight .

So depending on how many children remained to be picked up after lilly and jack or if they were last on the route ,one could hypothetically say a lot on landsdowne Road knew lilly and jack were off

And if any of the locals were engaged in town gossip we could add to that list . And basically it becomes like the old saying how long is a piece of string imo moo
