MOO the 911 call came in around 10am. responders would have first searched the trailers, any other outbuildings, and the immediate vicinity while awaiting arrival of mass search response personnel. By 11:15am the story was in the press stating a search was happening.

Every article and official source states the children were reported missing at approximately 10am. I see no reason to speculate the 911 call was made earlier and the 10 am time was simply when the massive search started. JMO MOO

How many pages of discussion pertaining to the couple still snoozing in bed at 10am, not attending to the 4 and 6 year old, helping them dress or serving breakfast etc? If people are going to label the couple as negligent parents I think knowing the time of the 911 call was made is critical before judgement can be passed. If it was made at say 8am would the situation be looked at somewhat differently? I think so.

I'm pretty sure that is a gate between the two tall posts on the driveway side of the dark picket fence around the RV.
This is what the fence looks like from the blue building> ( lots of gaps)

These are from the drones, The kids wouldnt have had to climb anything, they literally had free access to get out. panels missing on. both fences. Not saying thats what happened , just saying how easy it would have been to get out.

I must be blind. 10 a.m. is referenced twice by the writer but neither is a direct quote by the mom.

Six-year-old Lily Sullivan and four-year-old Jack Sullivan were last seen on Gairloch Road in Lansdowne Station around 10 a.m. Friday. After 24 hours, the two have still not been found.

Since just after 10 a.m. this morning, May 2, a search has been underway for two children who are believed to have wandered from a home on Gairloch Rd. in Lansdowne Station, Pictou County.
I don’t know to be quite honest. All I know is the mom said as soon as they looked around the property after realizing the children were missing, she called 911. And yes I too think the time of the 911 call is significant.
I just hope the children are found one way or another. I feel so sorry for Lily and Jack…

that is what we do here, discuss and speculate about the unknowns.

We can agree to disagree about whether the children were reported missing at 10 as all MSM indicates or if the 911 call was made at some earlier time of the morning.

I choose not to speculate on it as I feel the time reported is accurate.

Plus apparently not speaking to the step-dad since either...raises alarm bells doesn't it?!

Wonder what the reason is ?

We aren't privy to everything LE knows... but really-- if my child was possibly out in the woods alone, cold, frightened & hungry-- I'd be out there searching until I literally dropped from exhaustion.
I would do that if they were 4, or even 24 !
The love in your heart for your kids stays forever.

IF LE told her not to talk on social media or to the press, fine.
Still I'd have to be tied down to stop me from looking.
If like the stepdad mentioned -- about the things searchers might find -- the parents would know even more exactly what those items looked like.
I.e., were the boots faded or muddy ? Was the backpack intact or might it have a broken strap, etc.
SAR dogs should have been brought out immediately, I haven't read if they were, but I'm thinking it was a few days later ?
Imo.

and here is the fence around the RV, one side looks like isnt standing up straight, but hard to tell if it's just the sun's reflection

I thought the 911 call was around 10am as well but now I can’t find a source. There’s just no way the RCMP gather up all these resources and arrive at the rural Landsdowne home and begin searching immediately. Maybe the 911 call was much earlier (after sunrise) and the media is overlaying the time of that call with the responder arrival time???

“Since just after 10 a.m. this morning, May 2, a search has been underway for two children who are believed to have wandered from a home on Gairloch Rd. in Lansdowne Station, Pictou County.

There is a multi-agency response currently on the ground in Pictou County. It includes resources from ground search and rescue teams from around the province who are collaborating to ensure resources and teams are available on an ongoing basis. Other resources and teams include the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA), Department of Natural Resources Air Services, and several RCMP units, including RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (drones) operators, and others. Additionally, the RCMP issued a vulnerable missing person alert for Pictou County.”

Quoting my own post and BBM. Noted below “the RCMP were called around 10 a.m.” but called by who? It could be referring to an RCMP unit called to assist by their Command Centre, not the earlier 911 call.

“Brooks-Murray told CTV News on May 3 she called police right away, and RCMP say they were called around 10 a.m.”

Edit to add:
5/2 report

Ive heard different versions, this is my total guess> I would guess that after the incident between the families on Saturday, she was encouraged to leave, RCMP strategically wanting them to separate, hoping one or the other may divulge more info?
I don't believe the claim about her leaving b/c they implied cps may have involvement b/c if there was a need for child welfare, they'd get called regardless. Not to mention that if they thought the baby was at risk, they wouldn't have let her leave with the baby.

By their parents.

I'm dying to know when the last time anyone who was not their parents saw either of the children.

Oohhh ok. I understand now where you are coming from I think. Where I live when 911 is called, the operator asks the nature of the emergency and either transfers to RCMP, Fire or Ambulance. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t believe the RCMP commenced a search within minutes of the 911 call. This is a rural area requiring resources needing to be called in, logistics to organize and distances travelled. If I’m wrong, the province of N.S. is indeed very blessed to have all these units at hand just waiting around for a call. JMO

Yes exactly, then the person who answers the call for the RCMP is highly unlikely to be an officer attending the scene. They’d escalate the situation to someone else who would coordinate response with manpower/resources across various divisions.

Exactly!B so I do think the time of the call is significant.

If Pictou County RCMP detachment is the closest RCMP station, even that is 1/2 hour away from Lansdowne Station. It would really be extraordinary if LE were on site searching immediately.
I don’t get what’s a reason the exact time of the 911 call is being held back.
