[paraphrased] Thoughts go to family and loved ones of children. Working around the clock since we got the call. Search includes volunteers DNR, the guard, Salvation army, task units, dogs, major crimes unit has been engaged as a resource. 4 square kilometers have been searched. Thousands of search hours spent. Vulnerable persons alerts were sent out. Missing persons investigation has talked to family friends, neighbors.

Family has been kept advised on the search. We are narrowing the search and scaling it back. May research some specific areas. Investigation is broad, we will continue to investigate and chase leads as long as we have to. Appeal to anyone who may have information. Reiterates their hearts go out out the children's family.
