There's also nothing to actually connect the hostel guy to the actual shooter, even if Lugi was the hostel wich is yet to be proved it still doesnt prove he is the shooter

i think the identification he (or hostel guy) showed to the girl at the hostel had the same name on it as the identification luigi had with him when he was arrested!

but yeah, i too am curious about the evidence that will be presented and if defence will be able to poke any holes in it. even though for now i don’t really doubt that they are the same person.

well even if that's true, there could be multiple fake ids with the same name on them

I sorry, but I don't agree. LM was seen on CCTV throughout the entire timing of the event, from the hostel, to the hotel Brian was coming out of, of the actual shooting, to the route he took through Central Park to escape, etc.

LE has the bottle (fingerprints) and the wrapper from his Starbucks morning power up (DNA) along with his mini manifestos, numerous fake ID's, including the one he registered with at the hostel, $10K cash, a computer, and part of the ghost weapon when they detained him at Mickey D's.

Even his own mother said this was something she thought he might be capable of doing, that speaks volumes to me. I'm sure there is a ton of other evidence we don't even know of yet, which leads me to believe LM is going to be locked up tight for a long, long time if he doesn't get the death penalty.

His mother saying it was something she could see him doing puzzles me. He was such a high achiever, a good kid, outgoing. He doesn't seem like an obvious pick for a shooter, why did she think he would do that? Was it just because his mental health dropped off and he went missing? Or because of something specific about the circumstances?

"The entry dated August 15, 2024, reads in pertinent part as follows: 'I finally feel confident about what I will do. The details are coming together. And I don't feel any doubt about whether it's right/justified. I'm glad in a way that I've procrastinated bc it allowed me to learn more about UHC,'" the filing said.

The entry allegedly suggested Mangione first considered a target with the initials KMD but decided it "would do nothing to spread awareness/improve people's lives." Prosecutors alleged that instead, Mangione concluded, "The target is insurance. It checks every box."

Mangione is next due in court on June 26. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Prosecutors opposed a defense motion to suspend the state case in favor of the federal case, which Seidemann said could take years to try because of the government's intent to seek the death penalty.

Sounds like political and ideological terrorism to me. The fact that he's critiquing Kazinsky's methodology (causing the deaths of innocents) doesn't make his murder of an innocent man any less cold and calculated to me.

Luigi appointed himself Judge, Jury and Executioner. That is warped vigilante justice to me, now he should man up and accept his punishment.

Or better yet, let Brian Thompson's family be the Judge, Jury and Executioner of his punishment.

they said the police were called to mcdonalds because he had overstayed his welcome which is rather strange because he had only been there 30 minutes and was still eating

police searched the bag once at the McDonald's once at the police station it was on the second search that they found most of the incriminating evidence

Luigi update
Terrorism is not ok but murder is. What an arrogant, twisted mind. Unfortunately I have seen too much of some people thinking they know better than everybody else, and they are not necessarily the smartest person in the room.

His trial is coming. Why are you such a fierce defender of his?
