Prosecution deny lying. Well they're hardly going to admit to it are they

The criminal justice system is slow. It isn't unusual for cases to take a year or two to go to trial.

but if they have all the evdence the claim to have it shouldn't take this long

That's not how the justice system works.

LM is facing charges in PA and Federal charges with the DP on the table. It won't be a rush, it never is.

It took the Idaho killer almost 3 years before a trial was set and he ended up pleading guilty right before in order to avoid the DP.

why is he faceing mulitpull chardges in diffrent states why is he faceing fedral chardges if have him as banged to rights as they say it looks like overkill

That is correct. Like LM and others charged with crimes, he's entitled to a trial by jury where his guilt or lack thereof will be decided. It's a good system IMO.

They’re now at the stage where defense attorneys are filing motions to restrict and question evidence the prosecution is using against him. With so many new technological advancements in forensics there’s a lot of evidence and a lot of details in the charges filed.

That all means it takes longer to go through the pre trial process. Judges proceed carefully to avoid possible future problems. If a mistake is made that results in a future retrial or overturning a conviction, it can be a major problem for public safety and the careers of prosecutors and judges.

If the local courts and jury fail to convict him, the feds can bring their charges for another attempt to put him behind bars. They’re not taking any chances.

Possibly. They may also just be doing it as a precaution.

I mean, cases don't get any stronger than this one. He's caught on video, they have his DNA, fingerprints, a manifesto, and the very gun that was used. It's ridiculously strong.

the video footage doesnt show him doing him doing anything ilgal it doesnt show hes the shooter

When arrested, he was carrying the exact same gun used in the murders, a manifesto, and the exact same fake ID he used at the hostel. HIs fingerprints or DNA were found on multiple items, and his movements were tracked all over the city. There is no question they have the right guy.
