And the prominent brow ridge screams "male". Jaw structure can vary a little bit by sex, but he also has a very masculine jaw line. I'm not seeing female at all.

Reports have said that he arrived on Monday. The investor conference was on Wednesday, the day of the shooting. There were probably rehearsals, setup and prep. I haven’t seen reporting about it. But there would have been opportunity for the shooter to observe his target and familiarise himself with him.

I can’t figure out what kind of beard he may have…a chinstrap beard? In the unmasked hostel pix his chin is clean-shaven.

Or it’s fake? To throw off the scent as these pix are post-murder?

Also in pic #1 from Starbucks, I believed I saw Russian, but this looks Middle Eastern.
Maybe one of the former USSR nations like Kazakhstan? Or maybe Iranian?

Nope, not Central Asian (such as Kazakh) or Siberian - there's a gradient toward more East Asian characteristics there. Could be Caucasus, Ashkenazy, Turkic peoples, and countless others in the whole region, all the way to the Azores

I do want to point out that BT wasn't in charge of Optum - that was headed by another CEO under the UnitedHealth Group banner (which has its own CEO, in a higher position than BT).

If the TJ Maxx bag is connected to the crime, then I would suspect they are looking into the location at 808 Columbus Ave. The Tommy Hilfiger jacket that was in the bookbag was possibly purchased there for the sole purpose of ditching it in the decoy bag. He could've also purchased a Monopoly game from there as well.

I don't disagree but that amount of planning and logistical detail screams he did not act alone. Just to rehearse for something he could not possibly have known would happen, i.e., that Thompson would be walking alone on a NY sidewalk at 6:30 AM from a hotel, is very hard to chalk up as some angry customer acting alone. It would seem to me a person bent on revenge for a denied claim would be more a crime of opportunity and would plan such an event near Thompson's home or place of work. It likely required "inside information" (no pun intended) to know where Thompson would be, when he'd be there, and that he'd be alone.

Maybe someone already at the mtg who didn't look too surprised during all the resulting bedlam.

His neck in the photo of the adam's apple doesn't match his face. The neck looks older than the face. Or he could be wearing a face neck mask. That might be what's giving him that eye makeup look.

And I'll add that the perp arrives 10 days earlier, most likely knowing BT is staying at the hotel across the street. How did the perp know where BT was staying? He somehow knew BT was NOT staying in the Hilton where the meeting was taking place, or in a hotel south of the Hilton where an uber would drop him off on the 53rd or 6th ave Hilton entrances. Again, to know this info the perp either 1) knows BT (one of my theories is that the perp is a sex worker) 2) knows his personal assistant who books his travel 3) has remote access to BT's computer/phone 4) knows someone in the Marriott.

Perhaps he used those good looks to sweet talk a young lady at the Hilton front desk into phoning him when she saw BT exit the hotel. You know, something like, "I'm in town to surprise my uncle. Could you let me know when he leaves?"

I don’t buy the flirt theory from his side. The clerk asked to see his face without his mask to match his ID at checkin and maybe did that flirtatiously “can I see your beautiful smile” or something like that. No more, no less.

I've been thinking the same thing this whole time. The amount of resources being committed to this speaks volumes.

Do we know what BT did on tuesday? He arrived on Monday, but I’d be curious to know what his Tuesday looked like. IMO, it’s possible the killer began staking him out the day before, watching what hotel he went into, confirming there was no security around, etc.

I do not think he is a flirt. I think he knew he had to improvise in the situation, and a huge broad smile probably distorted his "normal look" more than any other look.
