Now I'm afraid we're going to have a bunch of trollers planting things in misguided support for this killer and just to make it harder for investigators.
Your post just reminded me of the fandom-like interest in and following of the Barefoot Bandit. I also get DB Cooper vibes.

I believe this person was hired and lives outside of America, they have already flown out of the country
This person is NYC savvy. The way he drove that Ebike, navigating through Central Park...he might have left the country, but he knows NYC and has driven Ebikes in cities before

I think the killer should be accountable w/o a doubt, but it's interesting there is so much attention and a $50,000 reward for the killing of a billionaire vs others who are killed in the same NYC daily.
He wasn't a billionaire. He was a decamillionaire. a 1%er, true.

They pointed guns, Moore from 40 ft away. A man is more able to assassinate than a woman?
If i recall correctly women tend to make better snipers because their hands are more steady. Women are just socialized to be less interested in weapons, and men typically would have more interst—typically, MOO.

Good question! Did he hop another bus or did a girlfriend pick him up? I find it intriguing he used his cell phone mere minutes before committing the crime. Was he alerting a friend as to his whereabouts and ask to be picked up outside Central Park? More wild speculation on my part.
Based on how well he's planned this out I wouldn't be surprised if he already had a car positioned somewhere on the bus route out of GW Bus Terminal.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's taken a bus from the terminal to somewhere other than Atlanta (seems too risky to go back to the same location his inbound bus originated from) got off on a quieter stop along the route. Picked up a car he's had waiting all along. Change of coat again along the way. Speculation only but at some point he knows he needs to get away from CCTV.

I think you can be knowledgeable about a place without living there
There are tons of youtube videos that can help with this

Because this thrust the NYPD into the national spotlight.

A brazen killer struck in broad daylight, committing a crime that was straight out of a Hollywood movie.

It was an absolutely unprecedented crime, and the implications for the city and the department are huge.

Your average murder doesn’t have those implications.
Exactly. The media makes sure to report on assassinations in other countries as "shocking" as if we here in the US are above those sorts of barbaric attacks. Well, as it turns out, we are not. We are not the shining jewel that we might have been, say, 20 years ago.

Haha! Well, I'm trusting LE and since they haven't said they think the perp could potentially be a woman in men's clothing, then I'll stick with it being a man. The dna they supposedly have on this individual should clear that up. Or does that even matter in this day and age? Lipstick on a pig, and all.
Can see his Adam's apple clearly in one of the more recent photos imo. The perpetrator is a man. Women don't have Adams' Apples last I heard!

Do you have a link to her quotes to the news? I have only seen a man who was sitting in a car at the curb speaking directly to the news (Witness gives his account of the UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting | Fox News Video)

This was the first article I found, but there are more out there.

It seems a lot of people who don't know him don't want to help. People close to him may have substantial personal reasons.

And leaving with nothing. The taxi photos show him walking - no backpack, hand in pocket.

Streamlined trip to NYC.

(I used to travel that way - rather than deal with luggage I would buy a few items once I arrived and either bring them home with me or not. I forgot I used to do that.)

I hope he changed out his footwear. Solid black shoes trimmed in white? To me, It would be another identifying feature.

And yet he had no problem with lowering his mask, exposing his entire face, directly under the camera, w/a big smile even, in the hostel registration desk "flirting" pic?!?
How does that make sense, when the rest of the time, whenever anyone could see him, he kept his mask up, even going so far as to keep it up while eating, only lowering it to take a bite and then immediately back up again, which sounds like it would be really annoying to do.

Maybe the exposed face pic was when he first arrived, and not until later did he realize that he needed to keep his mask up at all times. Or maybe since he had just arrived, he just wasn't yet used to having to make sure he kept his face covered, but got better at doing that after being there awhile. That makes sense, imo.
He was put in a situation where his normal instincts got the better of him I think. I think if most guys his age were put in that situation, they'd be obliged to comply with that request. He could lower his mask and do what was socially acceptable, or he could refuse to do so and draw a bit of attention to himself.

Perhaps he's a great planner, but not very quick on his feet. He could have said he was sick or something, which would have been a legitimate excuse.

I also think he didn't believe his hostel stay would ever be discovered, so it wouldn't necessarily have overly concerned him.

Random killings versus targeted assassination are a big difference to me.

There is a murder pretty much everyday or nite in baltimore, it become common place, don’t recall any assassinations.

Please explain why they deserve more attention and resources.
There is immense media coverage of a high-profile executive murdered outside his conference. The city makes a lot of money from people coming in town for business. Being able to find the killer as quickly as possible instills confidence in the police department and can show those wanting to do this in the future that you can't get away with it in our city. We have the cameras and resources and investigative abilities to find you.

Right. Conference organizers want to know if a location is safe, or not.

NYC is a tough place to learn via YouTube. Maybe he practiced for ten days. Things change all of the time. An entrance could be blocked off to the park, a backpack placed in the bushes for safekeeping overnight could absolutely be picked up by a random person. An unlocked e-bike will be stolen, pretty much a guarantee. So many variables that went right for the shooter.

Side note, I still believe he hopped a jitney over to NJ to who knows where. Endless possibilities after that.

Someone upthread mentioned he could have not gotten on a bus as all but made it seem like he did but instead walked the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey. Maybe head to Newark International Airport? It would really take you no time. People can go very unnoticed in NYC and NJ (i live in nyc). The NYPD are stationed so heavily in the subways and even then people still go unnoticed so heavily could have avoided the subway or not. Just thinking out loud sorry if this doesn’t make any sense!! MOO

I feel like it is almost common sense to why a murder like this gains more attention and gets more resources to solve than others. <modsnip - rude>
Who claimed to not understand the reasoning?

Following the logic doesn’t make it any less “interesting” or, in my opinion, any less of a bummer that other murders get way less resources dedicated to solving them.

I’d even say this kind of assassin is less of a threat to public safety than a lot of other at-large murderers, the ones who get far less attention. IMO it’s fair to point out disparities in the resources dedicated to different cases.

I live about 90 miles outside of Atlanta and NO ONE at work is aware of this. Not the 25 year olds, nor the 65 year olds. I’ve seen tidbits on patient TVs but it’s a non event here in south Georgia.
