Most -- if not all of us -- don't wish pain or illness on anyone !
And yes Luigi M. seems sadly disordered in his mind.
The severity of such can indeed be exaggerated, though. Imo.
This is about Luigi Mangione only, and I'm not referring to anyone else with this condition.
If he needs further treatment, there are programs in prison for him and most likely he will have access to meds he needs.
Maybe not a 'super villain' given the mistakes he made, but a plain, idiotic villain ?
Yes.
Given his past education one would think he might not have left viable prints on the snack bar wrappers and the drink container !
No one is creating a 'super villain' out of LM.
Not feeling the sympathy some are expressing for him.
LM isn't a 'super' anything. Just a snarling raging injustice collector.
He made his decisions and he did this to himself.
As far as being a 'narcissist', his outburst at the reporters
leaned that way, imo.
Luigi Mangione, charged with murder in the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, was denied bail at his hearing at Blair County Court House in Pennsylvania and did not waive extradition to New York. While the Extradition Act requires the governor to send him to New York, Pennsylvania...

The people around him worried and cared about him.
Not everyone is afforded that in this life.
My sympathies are only for Brian Thompson.
LM -- afaik -- did not even know him personally.
A gunshot wound (my coworker suffered and accidental injury years ago) hurts enormously, and it's not like some movies or reenactments, where you instantly close your eyes and drift away painlessly.
The bullets are basically punching holes in the victim, and they slowly bleed out unless medical emt's can get to them in time.
Brian died a painful agonizing death.
My condolences to his wife and two children.
This is going to be a terrible holiday coming up for them.
A terrible way to lose your loved one.
I can't imagine.
Imo.
Omo.
