Some days I agree with you...I have three kids. (My tongue is planted firmly in my cheek...love them all. :blushing: That's why 3 is actually my favorite number.)
That's what I think, too. If the wounds were that obvious, then certainly he'd be asked about it. I don't know that he needed medical care as much as he needed a plausible explanation for his injuries ('plausible' to his mind anyway).
Correct. My friend had her purse grabbed in N.O. one weekend. She received a police report stating that her DL was among the items stolen and was allowed to drive home. She was instructed to keep the copy of the report with her in the event she was stopped, but also advised to go to the DMV...
One possibility is that he wasn't very seriously injured, but instead visited the hospital to establish an explanation for his injuries.
One thing about the very description of his alleged robber. That's a lot of detail there. Oftentimes a person who has been through a violent attack may...

My thoughts exactly when I posted on page 9 or 10. Truthfully, though, I wasn't expecting there to be any report of an alleged robbery, but my original comments stand: if he lost the entire wallet, he'd need a replacement drivers license, and credit cards. The new DL would have a...
^ True that. I wonder whether there is a report of the alleged robbery filed with NOPD (doubtful, or we probably would have heard about it). Wondering if he was robbed only of cash...if CCs were stolen, certainly he'd report it to the CC company. Driver's license would have had to be replaced...
Speculating: if BSL is close to his hospitalized father, I wonder whether this would have been a 'trigger' for him. Maybe he's an evil person who goes around doing bad things. Or perhaps he's a sick individual (truly mentally ill) who lost his ability to function...

That's my hope, too. It is possible that once all this sinks in, BSL might do the right thing (unlikely, but stranger things have happened).

Agreed. If BSL is doubting that LE has enough evidence to convict, he won't talk (unless he has a serious change of heart, or a strong incentive to do so),
I'm still catching up, so I apologize in advance if this has been addressed. I don't have a link at the moment, but it was stated (a few times, in response to inquiries) on the Find Mickey Now FB page that volunteers were asked to register at the check in point and to show a photo ID. This...

True. Typically 48 hrs, sometimes 72 hrs. Depends on the company and the policy.
Regarding his renting the car in his own name, he would have to if filing an insurance claim. Also, he'd have to produce a valid drivers license to pick up the rental car.

We have a similar RSO in our neighborhood. He was 19, his GF at the time was 17 in 1979. Her parents pressed charges. Right or wrong, he's labeled for life. He later married, had kids, divorced. Reconnected with ex-GF, was engaged for several years before splitting amicably...

Agreed. But as I understand it, it often leads to self destructive behavior (substance abuse, failure to keep a job, etc.)...not generally turned outward to other victims in such a violent manner.

As much as I hate to use the words 'pre-disposed', because it makes it sound like it's out the perpetrator's control, there are some people who are too weak to control their compulsions. This does NOT mean these individuals are less culpable. There is some evidence that...
