SG did an interview earlier today when he described witnesses "putting their foot down" in regards to Kohberger attempting to purchase another knife. I believe he is talking about his family members, and do believe this is going to be true.

Because think about it. He's searching Amazon for a knife that is readily available, yet apparently did not make that purchase. Something like this explains it perfectly, and does jibe with Blum's (I know) reporting that members of the family were suspicious.

His family had to be suspicions..

1) First they heard there was a triple murder in Moscow, ID near where Bryan was studying.
2) Then they heard they were looking for white Elantra.
3) Then they (maybe) heard the description that he had bushy eyebrows.

However, they may not have been like us but instead been oblivious to the news of the day.

I think the sister is the one who was putting all the details together and getting suspicious.

Didn't she or the family actually search his car for blood in PA?

Dennis Rader (BTK), the serial killer of whom BK's professor Katherine Ramsland at DeSales University wrote a book, had other victims picked out who were not attacked. I wouldn't be surprised at all to learn that BK had other homes chosen as a back-up plan. He worked very hard by repeatedly driving around 1122 King Rd in order to commit his brutality there, but in all his surveilling he undoubtedly came across other homes with female occupants and noted them for future endeavors.

Dennis Rader facts

Good he is locked up and cannot get to anyone.

Prosecutor’s Office initially cited five aggravating factors, including allegations that Kohberger “exhibited utter disregard for human life” and “a propensity to commit murder which will probably constitute a continuing threat to society.”

Idaho Murders Trial: Why Prosecutors Want Bryan Kohberger’s Selfie Shown as Evidence

In the upcoming Idaho murders trial, suspect Bryan Kohberger’s selfie could be entered as evidence in order to compare his physical attributes to a description given by an eyewitness.

Bryan Kohberger's selfie could become a key element of his trial.

Prosecutors have asked to introduce a selfie Kohberger took—allegedly hours after the University of Idaho murders took place—during his trial in an attempt to compare his appearance to that of a witness statement describing the intruder she saw in the students’ home.

According to court documents obtained by NBC News and viewed by E! News, Dylan Mortensonone of the roommates living in the students’ home, identified as D.M. in the documents—says she saw a male in their residence wearing a ski mask that only revealed his nose and eyes.

“All I remember was seeing their eyebrows,” she told police, as recounted in the documents. “I don’t remember what their eyes looked like, but I remember their eyebrows. […] I just remember, like, bushy eyebrows. That’s all I could think about.”

It defies sensibility that he used a family account to shop for, buy, then shop again for a military grade knife.

Beggars belief.

Amazon Prime membership is pricey. You can hide purchases in case you are buying a gift for a family member who shares the account, and certainly delete your search history.

Maybe a family member peeked into BK’s account-who knows what saved logins were on a PC in Pennsylvania, or maybe they could guess a common used password. This could also be part of what the defense will say-that it really wasn’t BK looking at Kabars after the fact.

I think he threw the knife into a creek or river when he was south of Moscow that early morning.

I think he buried the coveralls and maybe even face mask out in the boonies.
I waver on whether I bellieve the knife was thrown in the river or a pond, or whether it was buried, but I do believe that any bloody clothing, gloves, masks, shower curtain, etc, were buried somewhere. When his car was searched, a shovel was found inside. Why would a college student living in an apartment have need for a shovel? Isn't like he was doing landscaping for the complex, in late November. Despite what his defense may wish us to believe, I doubt that he was prone to take hiking trips in November that necessitated taking along a shovel. Doubt he was the type to camp out overnight in the woods, especially in winter. I think most of his camping was done in his car, while he was out "stargazing".

Part of me believes that the knife is buried in some special place, maybe in the same place as the other things, but maybe not, somewhere that he probably hoped to revisit from time to time, when that urge to do it again just gets so overpowering. Thank God that will likely never happen.

I guess it would be too much to even hope for, because we would surely have heard before now, but wouldn't it be great if there is a receipt or video somewhere of him purchasing a shovel around the time of the murders. JMO

I never buried evidence or a body, but a shovel in the trunk is not that uncommon if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. Snow brushes are not enough when you have to dig your car out. I’ll give him that one.

What was the deal with his parents being questioned as part of a grand jury hearing? Was that before he was arrested? I am blanking on the details but am wondering again with the discussions about his sister being suspicious of him.

Makes sense. I had not thought of that, as I live in the southeast, where 6 inches, once every three or four years, is a lot of snow. I still stand by my belief of how he may have discarded the evidence of his crime, though, and I still would find it a bit suspect if there was a shovel purchase or Amazon search anywhere around the time of the crimes. He has bushy eyebrows
Kohberger’s attorneys have asked the court to bar the term “bushy eyebrows” at trial. They claimed the witness told police that she had been drinking and her memory was fuzzy. They also denied claims that Kohberger has bushy eyebrows, according to KXLY.
Kohberger Selfie Taken Hours After University of Idaho Murders May Prove Witness’ ‘Bushy Eyebrows’ Description

so defense denies his eyebrows are bushy, but are adamantly against the term bushy eyebrows being used in court. 🫤 If his eyebrows aren't bushy why avoid using that term that was used by a witness they say shouldn't be believed because she was "fuzzy" and had drank alcohol?

I'm with the prosecutors. Let the jury decide if they think Kohberger's brows are bushy

MOO they are bushy. and that selfie is all sorts of unsettling. That weird sweaty looking sheen to his skin, the smile, the thumbs up. all of it.

Maybe no plan of violence at the time, just an entitled non-grown up using his family once again.

The errors he made are as if he used the logic of cases 20 or more years ago for his parameters.
Those cases would heve been solved today if they were committed in the preaent.
Cameras, cameras, cameras a perpetrator cannot get close in a vehicle without beingnon camera.
Fotis Dulos got to his wife house to murder her, parking a mile away and approaching on a bike. Still on camera as a school bus with cameras caught the parked car and other cameras cought him biking.

Also is it a shovel for removing snow? Or a pointed shovel one used for digging holes?

Is he wearing a ring on the ring finger knuckle, like too small to go onto or over the knuckle, in the mirror selfie, a bandaid, or a scab? Looks like something is there, or perhaps it's the exposure.

Agree and …
who gets out of the shower and looks like a cadaver? Only BK, can be just out of shower, wearing white, and still look deathly pale. Hot or cold shower … person is not waxy white after.

he looks manic and sweating profusely, I feel like the selfie is more than just a trophy, he is checking himself because he is sick with adrenillane and want's to see a photo in order to confirm he can look normal and go outside perhaps. He is filled with emotional pride though, you can see it..he is really rushing from his experience..he feels like he has healed himself or something, he has achieved greatness and is self checking, self assuring, maybe he feels so high he want's to make sure he's really there.. BARF. mOO

Thanks for posting.
It’s eye opening to see the trial for Kohbereger set for October of 2023 and realize again how long this keeps being delayed.
Must be agonizing for the families and friends of the four victims to not be able to put this trial behind them and move forward as best they can.
They must be really weary of the wait.
Just imho

For the defense, this is going to be a case of "who are you going to believe, me, or your lying eyes"? Regardless of any words that one may or may not be allowed to use in describing BK, I dare say that anyone who is not visually impaired can look at that selfie and instantly determine for themselves whether or not they are "bushy". Great video.

CourtTV purchased the same knife. It is HUGE.

Guest found BK's selfie eerie. Compared it to Ted Bundy who took pictures. Quoting TB: when you work that hard, you want to remember it.

She says that photo isn't coincidental. It's signature.
