Watching this GH video, something hit me. GH was talking about BK exiting tge house, employing transfer mitigation, then driving away at a rapid rate.
He mentioned the barking dog.
MOO. It could have been Murphy. He could have been barking inside, then ran outside, still barking, through the open slider. Could have but I don't think it was Murphy. Murphy wasn't discovered/located into some time after LE entered the house. If it's true that he wasn't in an enclosed kennel, then he's as good as a service dog. Quiet, waiting for his person to call him into service. Very doodly IMO.
So, if it wasn't Murphy, who was it? Well, if that camera picked up a barking dog, there's a pretty good chance that the neighbor heard his own dog barking. (Remember the plaintive dog wail in the OJ trial? Effectively time-stamped the crimes.)
IMO BK left the house between 4:16-4:19, spent some minutes decontaminating himself, before speeding away.
IMO if he thought he'd been seen by DM, I don't think he wouldn't been so keen to wait around, risking crime scene transfer to his car over being caught at the scene. So I think he didn't see her, was methodical about his coveralls, and stuck to his plan.
So why then did he suddenly peal out?
The barking dog.
I can imagine the dog's oowner was none too pleased with his dog for waking up the neighborhood, and turned his lights on, to investigate/discipline/quiet.
I am eager to learn what all was picked up by that camera and what of it is corroborated by others living in the area.
Did that same camera collect audio at 4:21, of BK squealing away?
Did it capture a dog barking for 17-20-30 minutes (I can't recall what AT is claiming) ? Did it pick up car door, trunk closing?
One more thing, BK back at 1122, I think at 9:21, exactky 5 hours after he left -- if LE has camera footage of the Elantra within that 300' and in broad daylight, ouch.
And what's that saying -- wherever BK was heading, his brybrows got there first.
