Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #205

It jibes with the crime as a whole. He murdered two girls in broad daylight in an area that was relatively popular with others. It was incredibly high risk, despite his efforts to mitigate that by isolating them.

Planned doesn’t mean well planned, and certainly doesn’t mean he had particular victims in mind.

But with a box cutter and a gun, he wasn’t just planning on partaking in the increasingly popular hobby of “fish watching.”

Maybe he had done this many times, but that day was different…
I was just kinda thinking along these lines today. But I am wondering if Abby and Libby were the very first time and opportunity that BG had been out "hunting". Or has he been out there on the bridge other times looking for an opportunity. I wonder if there were other days he was off work, that he turned his phone off, and/or he parked his car in that same location. It would be interesting to find out if anyone checked into that.

Abby….in theory IF she was unconscious - what kinds of things could make her unconscious but not be detected (assuming nothing was found in her body). Her arms in her sleeves up in a fighting position is what I heard…also that small mark on her chin with no sticky residue….
her arms up in a "fighting position" o_O ???

I thought they were laying across her body per the ME

Do you have a link please ???

I am confused and admit I haven't been able to follow along all day.

We know the site had a steep slope. It would be far easier to drag a heavy object down a slope, where gravity is on your side.

I've moved a washing machine on my own, and I am not an athletic person in any way.

We see cases on here where people move a body on their own every day, and there have been many times there's a size difference, with the victim being larger. The Johnson case is a good current example of a smaller woman killing her larger husband and moving him without assistance.

MOO

My thoughts too. The Jury has seen photos of the crime scene area. We only have a rough sketch on a flat piece of paper to go by.

Prosecution did nothing today to me to convince me anymore RA is 100% the killer beyond a reasonable doubt, and like I wrote yesterday all that is left is the confessions, I hope they have some rock solid confessions because, my opinion only, this has been a weak case against RA when you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt

In case anyone is under any illusions about what the defence is pushing with the hair, according to MS reporting, at 1hr.15mins, AB crossed Holeman as to why KGs phone was not extracted. That is what this is all about IMO. The absurd second location theory. That there was a different person who said down the hill

There is truly no bottom for these people.

Agree.

Anyone can create a YouTube channel so I ignore those completely. I’m also not into more reputable podcasters, such as MS and GH, because I don’t have the patience. I much prefer reading news by trained journalists, particularly when it comes to investigative journalism.

Side note…..apologies, I’ve spent the last two days in a casino and will never catch up, so I’m reading every other page.

I send likes and loves to all the terrific posts I won’t be able to read.

Cha-Ching !!! I hope you won !!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, some youtubers are horrific to listen to so I pick and choose carefully. LOL

Justice for Libby & Abby

Bozinovski said the kits were tested and no semen was detected

I’m grateful for this small mercy.

I am still considering it a sexual assault since they were apparently stripped nude or were forced to strip nude, but relieved that at least he didn’t/couldn’t end this way, in or on their bodies.

They might have a few more people to call up that may intertwine with the confessions.

I hope all these confessions come this week !!!!

I also believe the reason the idea that they are pushing "innocent BG" ideas (too far away, we don't see him speak etc etc) is because the D knows the jury will realise BG in all probability is RA.

So they need a version where even if you think RA is BG (after all he has said he basically is), we still don't really know who did it.

Have you seen a witness list? How do you know the confessions is all that’s left?

Some interesting info from the end of the day:

Cicero told the jury he believed Abby Williams was killed while wearing the clothes she was found in, and said he wasn’t surprised that investigators didn’t predation on the bodies given the climate and temperature on Feb. 13, 2017.

Defense attorney Jennifer Auger asked Cicero about his conclusions on blood found at the scene, asking him to explain how the blood could have transferred to where it did. Auger asked if the girls could have been lifted, and Cicero said “not necessarily,” including that “her body could have been turned.” He mentioned in earlier testimony that Libby’s body may have been moved, or dragged, after her death.

He confirmed to the court, though, that at some point, Libby German’s neck was above her head. Auger noted that it would have been “highly appropriate” to document any drag marks found at the scene in February 2017.

Luttrell redirected, to which Cicero explained his theory that Libby’s arm could have been used to pull her body, and that if she was dragged, her head would fall back.

Luttrell then asked if sexual assault could occur without leaving DNA and if Libby’s injuries were inflicted at the same time. Cicero said yes to the first question, and said the injuries would have been inflicted at different times.

Auger jumped in, remarking that Cicero “had no idea how that (blood) transfer got on that tree.”

“No,” Cicero said. “Could there have been other methods? Yes.”

“You can’t rule out that Abby and Libby were killed at the same time?” Auger asked.

“No, I can’t,” Cicero concluded.

After Cicero’s testimony, the jury was dismissed. State prosecutor Nick McLeland motioned for the state to submit a Google search history for emails and accounts associated with Richard Allen. McLeland said he wanted see if anybody else had access to his accounts.

Judge Gull denied the request.

Connected to the confessions should come a psychologist or two, specifically Dr Wala. There was that other doctor from a town 1 1/2 hrs away, nobody could figure out her connection to RA. And Mrs A, maybe his mother as well? Testimony from coworkers or friends, things RA said, his behaviours, maybe even the daughter or son-in-law? It’s only Monday today….

That last part interests me. In part because I have absolutely no idea what’s going on there, but also because it’s a topic I really want to know more about.

What was he searching?

The whole premise there doesn’t make any sense. Why would he be submitting evidence for admittance to see if something is in that evidence? The other article I posted a few posts ago also says defense objected and JG took the motion under advisement, not denied.
