10K of taxpayer dollars shot to heck to learn what we already knew because the D was spraying spaghetti at the wall.
When did the DNA expert say the test was performed?

So the exact opposite of what I thought. Ok then!
From the trials I have previously watched, DNA testimonies are AGONISING because they tend to ask the expert to establish everything re: What is DNA. How do you test it. Why. Etc, before they even get to the matches.

All my own experience.

We're not privy to the video so all I can do is report from somebody who has seen it, and maybe has a better appreciation of the distances etc.

Who is KA?

Are the jurors allowed to take notes?

The Prosecutors are summarising the trial, and giving their opinion on how the P is presenting the case. Some interesting behind the scene's of the profession insights, IMO.

Bergmann:
Maybe they need some extra time to get the $70k AV podium to work first... ;)
For God’s sake don’t let any LEO near it. They evidently have issues with pushing the right buttons.

ETA forgot to quote, clarity

It was testified to that no DNA links RA directly to the crime scene but could it be that something from the crime scene links back to his wife, daughter, or animal of his?

I don’t see that in the post to which I responded. Why?
Because for instance if it was tested before the trial started then this would predate 'D throwing spaghetti against the wall'.

Also (and this is the frustrating part about lack of video/ audio access to court proceedings), when the expert said that it was a match to Kelsi, we don't yet have confirmation a to whether this was done visually, or what level of test was actually performed (in relation to costing $10k etc).

But glad this has been confirmed.

Damned if I know what else she is going to testify to though!

imagine that. The simplest of things. Innocent transfer. But then, DT knew that was going to be the case when they made much ado about it not matching their client's in opening statements. Just the same smoke and mirrors, don't mind the plethora of confessions you will hear in this trial, look over here, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Just imagining the jurors thinking back to the first mention of this in the opening statements and wondering what is on their minds as they hear this info.
