Wish he’d expand on the definition of a ‘positive outcome’ at this point in time.

“The municipality’s warden Robert Parker says many people are struggling with the unknown.

“There’s a concern about what happened,” he said.

“There’s a lot of apprehension. Do you let your little ones out of sight? Do you let them just play as they normally do?”

The warden also urged the public to avoid spreading speculation online and to be patient as the RCMP continues its work. He adds the community is proud of the effort by the search and rescue teams and is hoping for a positive outcome.

This article is from today.
Yet I'm positive I read that earlier. Maybe before he stated the unlikeliness that the children will be found alive.

Especially since they already said it's unlikely the children are alive.

I think it’s just more of a saying to try to bring calm to the community. He’s hoping for the best. He would have no info that’s different than the public.

If anyone is not aware “Warden” isn’t a law enforcement position. He is basically a “city councilor” / spokesperson for the area

Yes probably, it wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve noticed the media reporting on this story has a habit of running everything together that’s ever been reported on this case, new info, old info and anything in between all rolled into one.

You’re right. I’ve noticed that several times now. Adding old info into a new article to make it longer without clarifying it occurred on a different date.
Lazy reporting around this case in my opinion.

Yes it is. This Global report from today has Jack in clothing once again, believed to have been wearing brown pants and shirt. I’d bet previous reports that he was wearing only pull-ups and boots was because somebody errored on the c/p, JMO

The RCMP themselves say no clothing beyond the boots is available:

Jack Sullivan has short blondish hair. He's wearing blue dinosaur boots. No other clothing description is available.

JMO, but that doesn't mean to me that he was wearing only boots and a pullup. Just that it's not known what else he might have been wearing.

Correct. it was other media in days past that have left the impression he wasn’t wearing anything but pull-ups and rubber boots. Obviously the “not known what else” part was omitted. There’s been several comments regarding the lack of clothing here as well.

Even if no children are missing, people should be supervising their children!

I don't they are looking for abduction. I think it is more they are ruling it out. They sound as if they are nailing down a timeline of the last several days prior to the children going missing. Gathering all possible digital evidence. Ascertaining who has been on the property and at what times, who may have also seen the children and under what circumstance, so those individuals can be ruled out, or not as the case may be, as potential abductors.
I have a funny feeling that the timeline is off about a day.

In my opinion

If you take the parents at their word and they are truthful in describing what they heard/saw/did that morning then they were at minimum neglectful that morning.

Personally I don’t take them at their word for many reasons.
Would the parents be able to receive criminal charges without having found the children or remains?

I agree the state of that property speaks volumes

Me either. FAR too many contradictions.

This is true, but with Lilly they said she "may be" in pink sweater, pink pants, pink boots.

She definitely had a white backpack with strawberries.

Sounds like the only thing they could say for certain for Jack was boots and pull-up. In my personal experience, at 4 years-old I would likely be able to figure out pretty quickly if any of my kids clothing was missing or at least seemed to be.

This has been weighing on mind and I have to ask,is it possible the scent they had picked up and ended at the road could have been from where the kids get on and off the bus and not a route they supposedly took? I'm starting to get a feeling they never left that property. I feel they should take a cadaver dog all over that property, the homes and that camper.

It does seem extremely strange. I would not have thought the children would have had any clothes the parents were unaware of so by the process of elimination should have been able to work out what both would have been wearing down to their underwear.
