CANADA Canada - Jack, 4 & Lilly Sullivan, 6, Vulnerable, wandered from home 10am, Gairloch Rd, Landsdowne Station, Pictou County, NS, 2 May 2025 #3

Same with the mom - signaling abductions but then says about them being wet and hopefully warm now with the sun. Almost like they know they are dirty/outside but want everyone to think abduction and that why the conflicting things slip out
If we all had a dollar for everything odd about this case... well.
Imo.

Maybe nobody wants to admit being associated re hassled for inside info? Wouldn’t blame them.
I guess they gave up on pushing the abduction theory then. If I felt strongly about abduction then I would be publicly asking people to keep an eye out for my kids, I would be getting friends and family to do the same. If they trusted you they would be worried about helping the kids than being associated with you.

Odd that once SAR packed up and left there wasn’t much talk about abduction, getting the police to the borders and airports etc.

I could hope for a loving and caring taking of the children to protect them rather than a stranger abduction. But too much time has passed for that to be a possibility now IMO.

Some things she was saying.🤦‍♀️ I couldn't help but be embarrassed for her.

What you’re saying is relevant. I was reading that DM was always having to close the door after the kids. So, IMO, the kids closing the door after themselves is important.
MOO but maybe setting up the intruder theory? "They couldn't have left on their own because they would never close the sliding door." (I'm sure RCMP dusted the door frame for fingerprints, but MOO neither MBM nor DM were speaking clearly at that moment.)

DM talked almost entirely about himself and how he's the one keeping things moving forward 🙄🙄🙄

Very true. Mom says rcmp told their family not to talk about the case. If true, DM didn't get the memo.

While it’s possible they MAY have asked the mom not to talk about the case *they could only suggest it, not force. They would not have “suggested” it to other people just because they were interviewed. It would be a charter violation for the police to tell someone they cant speak to the media so if they were out there just “suggesting” it to people they would be walking a very thin line.

I imagine that the rcmp did not want allegations and opinions being publicly aired.
Good call, that was after she left and cut off contact.

When DM was asked by a reporter why he wanted to take a polygraph his first reply was that the other family doesn't believe him.

I thought that was interesting since you'd think it would be to help RCMP rule him out so they could focus on where the kids were.

Curious how many of you would sit and listen to a 4 year-old play in a kitchen?

I had a low cabinet filled with pots and measuring spoons etc my kids were welcome to - when I was in the room with them.

We would cook together regularly.

But otherwise kitchens and bathrooms were off limits at those ages. Knives, stoves, hot water, heavy appliances etc.

I personally would not sit and listen to my kid play in one of those rooms, and I'm not claiming to be a perfect parent - far from it.

Yes, I wouldn't lie in late if my four yr old was playing in the kitchen with the kitchen items. However, if the four yr old was glued to the TV watching Paw Patrol or some such kid's show, then it makes sense to me why the older child kept going into the parents' room and the four yr old wasn't seen. Lilly might have gone into the parents' room every time there was a commercial, but if the four yr old was like some that I know, the child could be a TV Zombie, never taking his eye off the screen for even a second except to yell when sister tried to change the program.

Martell said he was playing in the kitchen so he put it out there that he has no problem with the 4 year old messing around in the kitchen without adult supervision… As long as they’re not too loud or completely silent when they’re doing it, then its an issue.

The hours reported are at least 8 am - 10 am

Fully aware he was in a pull-up.

It's odd - this strikes me as something that could be a genuine reaction in a vulnerable situation: a person is frantic with worry over their kids, and is also being disbelieved by people close to him. And perhaps IF he was not approved of prior by those close people to the disappearance, the sensitivity to being rejected yet again is close to the surface, making that the first thing he speaks of. Or he's frantic to have someone, anyone believe him, and is dismayed that people he knows (rather than strangers like LE) are not believing and therefore contributing to delaying a search/investigation in the right direction.

I'm not sure I expressed that very well - in short, could be a natural ADDITION to needing everyone to believe him so that they'll all search for the kids or search to find out what really happened to them

All hypothetical on my part - that is, IMO :)

If we look at that statement in isolation that would be a very compassionate and possible take.

But when you look at it in conjunction with all the other cooky, contradicting things hes said, I don't buy it.

I get the impression he's someone that needs to be best, and right and I imagine he's panicking that he can no longer control his ex-partners narrative.

RCMP's search for missing children re-examining the area around siblings' home?

As in the brother's home? [I can't access the article]
Oh sorry, I’m assuming around the kids home

“Nova Scotia RCMP‘s major crime investigators are advising police to return to specific areas around the home of Lilly and Jack Sullivan in a rural hamlet of Pictou County, to try and figure out what happened to the children who went missing without a trace a week and a half ago.”

Anything’s possible. It’s possible he liked MBM more than she liked him and whatever happened happened but with her family all showing up MBM diverted from the plan to save herself and Martell is still holding out hope she changes her mind and comes back. He hasn’t really said anything negative about MBM despite her odd actions starting on day 2.

Also possible he did something and she got out of there as soon as she could.

Hopefully they’re looking for their kids if they’re innocent.

Don’t think she is.

Martell has been on the ground searching and providing insights to police when needed, he has said. It has been reported that the children’s mother, Brooks-Murray left the home the day after the search began, ending communication with Martell, and has been staying with her mother in Wentworth, N.S.

Martell said he is more than happy with the thoroughness of the investigation, saying people have put their lives on hold to search for the children.

He is “grateful” that police are going back and looking through the densest parts of the forest again.
