Agreed. To me it seems a bit absurd to think after all this time they wouldn't be found if they'd wandered away. All those people searching, no trace of them at all. No sightings. So unlikely.
Suggests to me they were never there to be found. That they're looking in the wrong place.

I'm not sure if the handle of their door is any higher than average, but they're generally 3 to 4 feet from the ground. I also don't know the height of the children, but I'm guessing at 4 and 6 years old, they'd potentially struggle with a handle that height. I'd imagine they might leave hand prints on the glass door if they used it.

Also in this pic, I just recently noticed what appears to be a smaller mattress laying between the two porches. Could be unrelated.

Assuming the door is the standard 80" height, the handle is likely around 38"-46" (3'2"-3"10") (96cm-116cm), based on measuring an enlarged version of this photo.

I agree. Given the conditions the searchers have described I cannot see them going far into the woods wearing very little clothing and small wellies . Thin clothing would have caught on branches and boots fallen off .

Maybe we will get to know if the dogs tracked any scents and to where they were tracked.

and the scent to the (end?) of the driveway is from Tuesday's drop-off?
I don’t think there has been any real proof that the dogs actually tracked to the end of the driveway.

I could’ve missed something though.

I doubt you missed anything, In fact Im going to change that post until we know for sure from L/E what the dogs tracked (if anything). How many days old can someones scent be before dogs cant track it anymore,

And the bus driver stated Lilly was always screaming. Seems she would have been heard, as well.

Given that Daniel said how friendly they were to everyone they met,I cannot see them hiding from searchers .

I think a lot of how you view this statement depends on where you are from. Where I live it is very common for someone to say, “I live on Main St”. It doesn’t mean that they actually live ON the street, rather they live in a house located on

You never know how children will act if they are scared.

I’d imagine they were very scared once they realized they lost sight of their home.

IMO I don’t believe the kids are in the woods nor have they ever been BUT the only scenario I could see children going out in those type of woods in those weather conditions would be running away terrified

With that being said, as vocal as Lilly sounds in videos etc, wouldn’t she be screaming for help the whole time? I would think she would imo

It's really impossible to say with children. My son was very vocal but when he got separated from his dad in a mall he panicked and hid.

I wondered if they overheard a shouting match between the parents, got scared and took off.

Apparently, they were told to play quietly so as not to disturb the baby who was with them in the bedroom. We haven't been told of a shouting match, but who knows.

I agree ,I do not think that they would think of staging used pull ups for a 4 year old in the bin .

Indeed, or bite marks in a pizza crust, or whatever food scraps ended up on top of the compost. Kids leave a trail of evidence.

I don’t know the child personally, and you never know, so it would be pointless for me to speculate.

Providing they werent called in sick, It was school time, they should have been getting ready, dressed, eating breakfast, packing lunches, It's a busy time not quiet time in the morning,
It doesnt take 2 people to feed a baby or make sure she sleeps when you have 2 other kids running around who are supposed to be getting ready for school and then walked to the HWY for their bus.
