I don't have time to listen to the audio, but from CBC Radio as shared by a trusted Websleuths member on June 17:

Some excerpts. Reporter commentary unless otherwise indicated:

-not one, but two missing children, a dog that barks at everything, a mother who left on the second day, a father who hasn't seen the kids in three years, and a stepfather trying to piece things together.

-the children's mother took the baby to be with her family in another part of the province. Her mother told CBC News the RCMP told them not to speak with news reporters. The RCMP says it just advised everyone to be mindful of the information they share publicly.

-Search crews returned for two more weekends until the end of May searching wells, mine shafts and septic systems, even flying a drone beneath the home. The four-year-old is wearing some blue dinosaur boots. Police say they found a bootprint, and listen to this in the radio chatter:
“families uh brought us to a location there uh not far away that uh there's a part piece of a blanket”.
Just found a link that discusses the rest of the blanket in the bin

I’ve finally joined the majority of you and am choosing #2 sadly. I really wanted to believe they were placed in someone else’s care.

People have a passion for justice that can't be replaced with AI, and if Jack and Lilly were my kids, I'd want real human eyes doing that job.
I am not a fan of AI (but I am also old enough to remember being skeptical about and not in favor of ATMs - now I can’t imagine life without them!) but I think it could be used IN ADDITION TO and not INSTEAD OF human eyes.

Strange her blanket would be in trash. My inclination would be to save all her little things for memories unless of course they were dirty etc. was this the pink fabric on that window in photo? If pink fabric was in bin in garage, does that mean garbage pick up day hadn’t occurred, or did they not have garbage services being that rural? Where I live rural homes take their garbage to local dump, I wonder if checked?
I know a mom who lost her 13y/o son due to a chronic medical condition and she said that one of the hardest and most heartbreaking things she ever had to do was to wipe down the door to his bedroom that he had undoubtedly touched and had his fingerprints. She said she felt like she was erasing him. And this was several YEARS after he died.

My oldest son died almost 10 years ago and it still breaks my heart if I have to let go of something that was his. I can not fathom getting rid of ANYTHING that belonged to my child so early in their disappearance and investigation. NO WAY!!

I find the video is pretty informative. It is helpful to see the area around the property, not just the same few photos we’ve been seeing.
I chuckled to see her dog, recalling how we wondered, early on, if a dog attack may have been a factor. I think we can rule that out, lol.
Seeing the distance between the sliding door and the bedroom shared by DM and MBM is also helpful. It could explain not hearing the sliding door. Though I do wonder how JM was able to hear the children’s voices but DM and MBM were not.
IMHO

She comes off as believable to me. She did not see them that morning though, she only heard the kids. This is the same thing that Malehya said. Could Daniel have had an audio recording on his phone?

I believe every word this woman has said. The sliding door IS exactly as DM has described it, very quiet. Since their room is all the way at the back of the trailer, there's no way they'd have heard the kids go out. Just like they said.

JM's statements in her interview corroborate everything DM has said.

So her account is:
She was on the phone with her brother at 848
She fell back asleep
Her dog barked waking her up
She heard the kids because her bedroom is right where they play
Heard nothing For a bit
Heard Daniel yelling for them
Mom said they had been gone for 20 minutes
She said they had to carry Jack when in the woods because it’s so dense
She doesn’t believe they are in the woods

So with the recap in mind

I don’t understand how 20 minutes could have been identified. They said they didn’t hear them leave the yard. How did they have any idea of how they were gone 20 minutes?

If you watch the video again, her bedroom is literally 10 feet away (if that) from where the kids play.
DM and MBM's room is all the way at the end of the trailer. It's easy to understand why they didn't hear the kids outside but that she did.

She also says that if she heard them leave the fenced area she would have heard lily say come on Jacky- or something and she didn’t hear any of that

I understood it to mean between the last time they were heard playing and the first time Daniel was heard calling their names was roughly 20 minutes.

Sorry one last thought I’m just getting to really look at it we know the fence wasn’t finished and didn’t look like that in the other photos. I would have liked to see the area by video before the fence was all finished
