Are those "orange tennies" or prison footwear?

At first I thought those white stripes on his sleeves (first pic) made the sweater some polo shirt or one of those weird sports they play in the ivies.
But no, turned out to be the fingers of the cops forming the stripes.

Don't know about the orange footgear, I just assumed tennies.

I've been wondering if the involuntary facial movements could be related to medication he may be taking. Just speculation, but based on the drastic change in demeanor of defendant since his raging outburst upon arrest.

Ok this is what I was thinking as well. Either withdrawal or beginning taking an SSRI can have face twitches. Lexapro made me involuntarily make a sneering face - wrinkling my nose. MOO

I only mentioned this because when LM appeared in federal court wearing street clothes rather than prison attire, one of the MSM articles that was posted mentioned that the orange shoes he was wearing were orange prison shoes. So I wonder if that is mandatory for some reason.

Not important in the bigger scheme of things, but when LM appeared in federal court and wasn't wearing prison clothes, one MSM source did note that he was wearing prison shoes along with his street attire -

As my parents would have said, he has delusions of grandeur. I think he had high expectations for himself in adulthood. He didn’t understand the grind that it takes for most. I wonder if Lin-Manuel Miranda will write the book, the libretto, and direct the musical. I mean, for eff's sake, why all the showboating? A lot of egos are involved here, it seems to me. And not just - or even - his.

IMO, LM is aware of the spectacle that are these staged perp walks. I think that's plainly evident in this footage. Highly subjective, of course, but for a split second I saw him observing it, bemused.

Yes of course, what do they call that, collusion? One of the links I posted yesterday showed that the rate that UHC denies post acute care to elderly stroke victims increased drastically under BT. Iirc ~7% denial in 2019 to ~22 % denial under BT.

This is why, in my opinion, we're seeing so much sympathy for LM. The health insurance system in this country is broken, and while I do not condone shooting CEOs, I do hope this event will open hearts and minds to our fundamentally flawed insurance system and lead to positive changes.

LM must be held accountable for killing BT. There's no way around that.

But who do we hold accountable for patients who suffer and die because they are denied lifesaving care? Someone has killed them, too. Or, at least contributed to their deaths.

Yes, but is a public hospital going to provide Elective Surgery like back surgery if you're indigent? I'd think they'd only provide surgery on an emergency basis. Walking in and saying you have pain won't get you triaged as an emergency in an ER.

They have to take them. Back pain could mean a lot of serious medical problems. A simple MRI would tell them pretty much everything they would need to know. Sometimes surgery is emergency necessary.

At the present time, knowing what I think the law shows he should be charged with 2nd degree murder. Let the jury decide, and let the state retry if one or more juries are hung. Imo

But I'm also not opposed to his being charged with bogus terrorism, as I think we might see a whole jury nullify. And, in the meantime more people will recount how gma was refused help for a stroke. After paying premiums for decades. And decades. Imo
