Someone in the international community might be interested in influencing Americans' confidence in things like our justice system (people are okay with an assassin taking the place of a jury!!), our health-provider industry, our financial system, etc.

To me, this does seem like a crime against us as a culture. But that's just one theory I have still on the table.

jmo

still my strongest theory as well....

Just because police saw perp going into Port Authority bus terminal and not exiting does not mean that perp got on a BUS!!!!!! I think this information is very misleading! The A,C,E subway lines run under the Port Authority Bus Terminal. I think the more likely scenario is that he hopped on the subway and got out of midtown quickly. From there, he could have easily traveled anywhere in the city or points in NJ via the PATH train, or Queens, etc. I am not buying the theory that he hopped on a bus going to another state. ALL JMO

Regarding the hotel entrance, I’m pretty clear at this point that BT was not planning to enter the hotel through that side entrance. If I had to guess, he was likely planning to use the main entrance.

If you look at a video still from right before BT was shot, you can see he has already advanced past the entrance doors and is the area of the large glass panel adjacent to the doors. I’m purposely not including a still of him being shot but he had advanced a tad further and was still facing forward.

On the right, you can see the bystander (who later scurried away) near the far end of the inset area, close to where the glass panel meets the wall/pillar. I’ve included streetview photos of each side of the entrance area so it’s clear that is where the bystander must be standing.

I haven't played monopoly in quite a while but I think the highest denomination in that money is $500?
Yes, $500 is the largest Monopoly denomination.

As expected, I found the following information BBM:

"The use of the allegedly defective AI model, developed by NaviHealth and called "nH Predict,"

"The nH Predict model was developed by NaviHealth Inc, a Tennessee company acquired by UnitedHealth in 2020 for $2.5 billion, the lawsuit states."

"UnitedHealth Group has been deploying AI and ML applications at-scale for more than a decade. Currently, these efforts are focused on reducing administrative burdens and ensuring health care workers can focus on tasks they are uniquely qualified for."

"Coverage decisions are ultimately "based on CMS coverage criteria and the terms of the member's plan," Albright said, adding that the lawsuit "has no merit."

"Aaron Albright, a spokesperson for NaviHealth told CBS MoneyWatch that the AI-powered tool is not used to make coverage determinations but as "a guide to help [UnitedHealth] inform providers ... about what sort of assistance and care the patient may need."

"The plaintiffs are the families of Gene B. Lokken and Dale Henry Tetzloff, both now-deceased patients who were covered by a Medicare Advantage Plan policy provided by UnitedHealthcare. from at least November 2019 to 2023."

There may have been other things I wanted to point out but BT became CEO in 2021, a lot of the problems they are referring to were problems prior to him becoming CEO. They are actually problems that have always been around in the healthcare industry and are not specifically due to anything related to BT personally. The anger regarding the coverage decisions may as well be more about the CMS coverage criteria and terms of the member's plan. There are criteria involved in those determinations that are beyond UHC's control in the matter. I can't speak to details related to those particular lawsuits but when you are dealing with someone who is on Medicare and have a supplemental policy, the terms of that coverage is spelled out before any of the patient's experience these medical emergencies/situations. In all accounts of what I read in the articles, the AI tool is not "denying" claims/coverage.. it is being used for other functions related to the entire process. The named tool, was developed by NaviHealth, not BT... so again, I see people incorrectly stating online that he himself developed this horrible AI program TO DENY claims...which is completely false.

I completely understand the frustrations people experience with their medical insurance. I truly do, but it is NOT due to any one person, it is the entire healthcare industry practices of all involved that culminate into this horrendous problem. You have member s who defraud the insurance companies, you have physicians/facilites who are defrauding the insurance companies as well as the members, you have insurance policies which are set up based on state or federal laws ... The issue is much bigger than the CEO of one organization. Again, the anger directed at this man personally is insane to me and this shooter either hated him personally for some reason or wrongly views him as the entire face of UHC or the US Healthcare system.
He was head of the Medicare/Medicaid division prior to becoming CEO.

he left from the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal (operated by Port Authority), not the one near times square.

why? there is zero reason to suspect this guy is foreign or working for some foreign agency. even if we assume that this guy's face is totally "foreign", there's plenty of foreign-looking people who are 100% American with documents to prove it. theories with zero evidence behind them are not helpful.

Have we seen a photo of the actual “monopoly money” found? I’m wondering if it’s literally from the game or is LE using that term to describe fake money. Also I see there are different types of Monopoly money for sale. Could be a clue.

A group looking to make money selling this stock short, needing $$ funds.
Choose a company which U think could take a big quick tumble if you eliminated the CEO. Perhaps targeting this company because of its “insider trading”

The day of any big “announcement” /shareholder meeting is impt in stocks. There’s usually a lot of activity / volume around so selling short wouldn’t be unexpected at this time.
So, if a group of investors were looking to make some $$ in United Health taking a big tumble, they might decide quick & cheap investment/reversal of fortunes is 3 bullets.
i said this also upthread! :)

Responding to my own post.
I found the photo that @Elley Mae had found on an unapproved source.
To mods: I hope the official FBI page is acceptable? If not please delete.
The photo shows an additional angle of the suspect outside the taxi, showing a bulkiness on the back of his parka.

One question, when I go to NYC I take the subway or blackcars (the suvs). I use cash for both because I have no faith in humanity. But why would you take a cab when you have cash and not a black car, they are maybe 25% more but offer privacy. I don’t know the cabs confuse me… or do black cars have cameras and I’m just ignorant to them?
I'm guessing the black cars are a limo service and you stay in hotels when visiting? The hotels may have an agreement with the car company to provide this service to guests. If you want to book a limo in the city, you can do that but I think you need a credit card and they charge by the hour. I assume every car for hire has cameras.

Definitely looks like something is under it. Probably had his go bag stuffed inside the gray bag. Ditched the grey bag and took his belongings home with him in a still hidden bag.

No one has come forward to identify him, which is very out of the ordinary for a 20 something resident of the US.

I have always felt he used the bathroom to change into a different set of clothes, very possibly womens clothing or even women’s islamic head dress and hopped on a bus, given so many on here have questioned if the suspect is a woman he would likely get away with it

It is truly wild to me that nobody has come out and like given a description of his voice or anything...maybe because it's nondescript but still

Cab driver will know his voice.

<modsnip - quoted post was removed. Following is about why hotels don't give room info to people not registered to the room>
It’s about liability in the case of someone escaping an abusive situation and the hotel—potentially—giving the abuser access to the room. Unless a husband or wife is NAMED on the reservation, no decent hotel will give anyone access to his/her spouse’s room.

Does that Hilton have doormen that work 24 hours? The main entrance doors may stay locked and have set hours that they are open. JMO

I last stayed there in 2022, so it could’ve changed since then but they had 24/7 doormen. They also had fairly tight security although that’s common in most large NYC hotel. For example, we ordered UberEats one night and the driver wasn’t even allowed past the lobby (to deliver to the room).
