No CEO walks into anywhere not appropriately dressed. No overcoat on a freezing day? Nope. No way. If you think it's a coincidence that he is not dressed right or carrying a briefcase the moment he got shot, then you aren't thinking hard enough about this. Ask yourself why the shooter was at Starbucks 2.5 blocks away and mysteriously knew when the CEO would exit the Marriott? He knew bc he is part of the conspiracy, the shooter lured out the CEO. They know each other somehow.
A CEO doesn't need a briefcase anymore or a laptop for a meeting like BT was attending. It's all prepared electronically and would be ready for him on a laptop at the meeting venue, as well as his talking points with the powerpoint or whatever program he was using. I work with our CEO regularly on presentations, and everything is finalized and reviewed before the executive officer leaves for a trip to another city or abroad and the presentation and talking points are transferred digitally. The CEO just saunters in the day of the event and everything is ready for their presentation.

I also don't find anything odd about BT's behavior walking one block from the hotel where he stayed to the conference hotel. And although some would put on an overcoat on top of his suit jacket due to the weather, it seems that BT was comfortable walking to the conference hotel with just his suit jacket. As people have posted on here, he is from Minnesota. He's used to much colder weather.

ETA: It looks like someone may have already been pointing this out a few posts up

It appears he has a backpack on under the jacket in this side photo. This would support speculation of dressing and shedding in layers.IMO

Responding to my own post.
I found the photo that @Elley Mae had found on an unapproved source.
To mods: I hope the official FBI page is acceptable? If not please delete.
The photo shows an additional angle of the suspect outside the taxi, showing a bulkiness on the back of his parka.

Whitelilac, Much gratitude.

This is fantastic. This last pic shows that he either walks slightly stooped (which was noted in some of the vids), and/or there is another new, bookbag under his puffer, OR, that's the hump from a bulletproof vest?

What do people think?

(pure speculation)

Definitely looks like something is under it. Probably had his go bag stuffed inside the gray bag. Ditched the grey bag and took his belongings home with him in a still hidden bag.
Yes, may be yet another jacket he changed into, and disposed of the parka.

he left from the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal (operated by Port Authority), not the one near times square. there are no subway lines attached to the former.
Thank you for the clarification - I see now that it was at 178th Street

No one has come forward to identify him, which is very out of the ordinary for a 20 something resident of the US.
We don't know that. LE may have received many calls by now but just not shared with the public.

no one has come forward to *publicly* identify him, at least that we're aware of. maybe a little odd? idk. NYPD has received hundreds of tips related to the photos.

Incorrect. One can get from the GW Bridge bus terminal to the A train (177th street entrance for the 175th street station) via escalator or stairs. Theoretically the shooter could've done that, and then headed either north or south on the subway.

Cab driver will know his voice.
It is very easy to fake a voice, I used to do some amateur dramatics 20 years ago or so and can do a pitch perfect German accent even now, I have no doubt the suspect could put on a different accent to his own

I can assure you that thousands of people have come forward to identify him. The problem is that LE has not been able to ID him from the thousands of tips.

Have we seen a photo of the actual “monopoly money” found? I’m wondering if it’s literally from the game or is LE using that term to describe fake money. Also I see there are different types of Monopoly money for sale. Could be a clue.
From everything I’ve read it, it seems as though they are describing actual Monopoly money.
This is one article it’s mentioned in.

Nah, not having an overcoat is simply not wanting to be encumbered by one for what? A half-block walk at the most? Again, he had no need for a laptop. He was making opening remarks, everything was set up, and after that he probably had meetings/lunch scheduled with the most important investors.

I'm in the corporate world, too, and in senior leadership.

<snipped & BBM>
As the search for the suspect enters its fifth day, NYPD diving crews are back in Central Park on Sunday looking for any shred of evidence in the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare chief Brian Thompson.

I think this is the key phrase....
looking for any shred of evidence

I just think that LE is feeling so snookered. NOTHING new has come out . The cab picture, but that is it, today.
I think they have to try to look busy... whether the gun is in there or not.....
What would we learn now, if a gun is found in water? Seriously, i don't know ...
