He wasn’t going to live with those 2 shots to his chest through the back.So you’re saying if he lived it wouldn’t matter because he got those three bullets out there?

The shooter couldn’t have known that for sure.He wasn’t going to live with those 2 shots to his chest through the back.
Serial could tell you what store the bike was shipped to by the manufacturer. You could then find the subject and form of payment and go from there.I mean, maybe a serial number could tell you if it was stolen but only if it was registered. The other info feels moot to me.
Occam’s razor says some unrelated person took the unattended bike. Stole it.If they don't find it, it may lend credence to the theory that he may have had an accomplice or identify where he purchased or rented the bike?
sbmI feel like a disgruntled user hasn’t been quiet about why he’s disgruntled. So they may have to sift through upset patients and see where it leads.
I like the theory that he parked it unlocked in a spot that made it very enticing for someone to steal. If they don't find it, it may lend credence to the theory that he may have had an accomplice or identify where he purchased or rented the bike?
Not sure what you are implying? Are you saying a single headshot from far would have sealed his death for sure? The torso has a lot more surface area than the head and is therefore easier to target. Plus the torso has the heart and lungs - fatal if those are hit.The shooter couldn’t have known that for sure.
Not unusual -Steve Jobs had no security, Bill Gates who gets an incredible amount of social media hate doesn’t, Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg don’t have bodyguards either and they are far higher profile than BT
What if it weren't a kill. He could be in hosp. Gruesomely wounded for life.I don’t think so. What would be the point to set up his own murder even if he’s under investigation etc.?
People have survived being shot multiple times with things far more devastating than 9mm FMJ bullets. Those bullets don't do much damage beyond the permanent wound channel and you have a pretty good chance of living as long as no vital organs or vessels are hit.He wasn’t going to live with those 2 shots to his chest through the back.
I’m not sure what you mean? I may need more coffeeWhat if it weren't a kill. He could be in hosp. Gruesomely wounded for life.
it's just not unusual for a C-suite executive to walk a city block without security. the people around him would probably call him paranoid if he demanded a security detail for such a walk.Steve Jobs may have been an exception or perhaps had undercover security that wasn’t publicly disclosed. Regardless, most high-profile individuals have security teams—some highly visible, while others operate discreetly.

Hitman may be from outside the US. Chance to go visit NYC for a bit because he knew as soon as he did his hit job, he would have to bolt ASAP. BT set it up because he knew he was being investigated for insider trading. He had cashed in millions of $$. Afraid his boys would be left with nothing if government siezed the money. Plus he did not want to go to jail again (DUI years ago). Plus he did not want the shame of his boys knowing he did something illegal. He was hoping he could set it up that it looked like someone disgruntled with the insurance industry. And did not want to do it in Minnesota where he knew his wife and sons would be too close, possibly end up having to show up at crime scene. NYC gave him a buffer of them not seeing crime scene as well as no one they knew would be involved in crime scene: paramedics, police officers, etc. I think he hired someone from out of the country, which is why no one seems to know who this guy. Even his fingerprints and DNA have not been found in police database. Hitman casually went to Starbucks right before hit. Not concerned at all about missing BT. BT put on a bright blue jacket that morning. I think he called hitman and said "Okay, I'm walking out of hotel in five minutes with bright blue jacket on." I believe BT walked out of hotel and shooter came from BEHIND and shot him. He didn't see this guy from the front. He KNEW this was the guy without seeing his face. It was the jacket. No one would know what BT was wearing that morning except for BT. Hitman literally got to the hiding spot by the SUV five minutes before BT walked out the door. BT did not have an overcoat. No laptop bag. No briefcase. BT knew he did not need those that morning. A 50 year old CEO does not go to an out of town conference without a laptop. Period. So let's say he set it set it up, why go to NY for 10 days in advance? If BT set it up, why not just set it up in MN? Why would he set up his own murder?
Maybe, maybe not. With a bike it could be different because there aren’t hundreds of thousands made. But the idea of there being a huge log of serial numbers somewhere is not really realistic.Serial could tell you what store the bike was shipped to by the manufacturer. You could then find the subject and form of payment and go from there.

I think that the main reason for body guards isn't necessarily assassination attempts but rather the risk of kidnapping for ransom.Steve Jobs may have been an exception or perhaps had undercover security that wasn’t publicly disclosed. Regardless, most high-profile individuals have security teams—some highly visible, while others operate discreetly.

Er, pls don't throw rocks at an elderly (but spry) lady, what is an e bike and how are they so easy to access at a moments notice in busy nyc?
Ppl reaĺly carry batteries around? How large?
Just saying....local bike shops sell used bikes, bikes pieced together from other bikes, bike parts, bikes that, um, "fell off the truck," as well as distribute new from manufacturer. It is a cash business in many instances, in my experience, without necessarily a paper trail.Serial could tell you what store the bike was shipped to by the manufacturer. You could then find the subject and form of payment and go from there.
